Lest thy angel fall in peices
Her wings falling feather by feather to the ground...
And set drawn by dreams that seem to fade
And watching them sleep, she profound.
"Is this" she speaks "The promised land, a land from which to fall?"
While slumbering in your promised land--
A solemn, drowsy ball.

These pains within that tear my heart
I know might kill me today.
But as I linger on tonight
I know that bleeding it away

May be the quickest choice to make
By saying "kill me" if you may...
But unless I find something else to do
I'll bleed here anyway.

Take my body and hold it tight
Please help me stitch my heart.
For if you're not the one to do it
I'll tear myself apart.

"Roses are red, violets are blue"
Had the sweetest word inside
But sugar is nothing to coat the fact
That only Pain replied.
[That, somewhat, you had lied.]

To hold me tight, to hold me dear
And never let me go.
But do you see now all that's left?
This rose, my beloved beau.
