It was raining cats and dogs that day... Most of our close relatives went to our house to bring us to the airport... My great aunt covered me with an umbrella as I went in the car. I wave goodbye to my neighbour who I just had a fight a few days ago. As the car curved around the curb, tears started falling. I quickly wiped them cause it will be embarrasing to be caught crying in front of a lot of people. We say jokes while heading to the airport just to forget the fact that we're leaving for at least half an hour. Soon enough,we arrived. I went down and drag a bag behind me. I put the bag down and volunteered to carry my 1-year-old cousin, Mia. She was amazingly cute and beautiful. I took her from my Aunt's hands and carried her around the hall. I put her down and positioned her to stand. She has always had the fright of walking. If ever we put her down, she would scream and start crying. But, today, she was different. She started to walk up and down the ramp. My 11-year-old uncle and I took turns in holding her up. I ask my mom what we were waiting for and she said we were waiting for her uncle and aunt. So we continued to find and have fun until they arrived. When they did, they handed a blue box to me and my sister, Nicole. We opened it and we saw 4 small beautiful boxes in varios shapes and sizes. I open it and saw a pair of earrings. Every box contained one pair. I was truly grateful. Then, we needed to go. I said my goodbye's while trying to hold back my tears but there were to many of them to handle. So I cried. Tears fell from everyone's eyes. I knew we were really going to miss all of them a lot. About an hour of wait in the waiting area, we went in the plane. The plane started to go higher and higher above ground and tears started fallinga again. Goodbye, my beloved Philippines!
