My very long post
The fallen smiled at her for understanding, "Thank you for everything." Leaning foreward he kissed her breifly on the lips then help her up. He waved his hand and the darkness evaporated. His grey eyes looked over the man from before, hacking away at the fainted deamon. Drawing his swords, he blocked a slash then used his strength to throw the man back. With a cold glare he said with indifference, "I thought i told you to leave her be? You are lucky my master calls for me, else i would cut you donw where you stand this instant." He turned to Star, "Will you keep an eye on him for me?" He didn't wait for an answer as he sheithed his twin swords and appeared to sink into the ground.

He arrived in the throne hall and knelt down to recieve his punishment. Lucifer was actually pacing in front of the big chair. This wasn't a good sign.

"What am I to do with you? Tell me that? I can't kill you, you are far more usefull to me alive. I cannot take away your wings or maim you in anyway or else you would become useless. I could take over your body, but then i would have to leave my own and that would be unpractical," He said with no emmotion in his voice. He turned his head toward Marcus, his red eyes glowing their displeasure. He sighed then steped down the stairs toward the dark angel. "I have thought this over and have come to a conclusion that suits this matter. Rise," he said with slight glee. Marcus knew that he only became happy when he had thought of something cruel or evil. He shivered slightly as he stood up.

Lucifer walked around his slave and placed a burning hand in the center of his shoulder blades in between his wings. Marcus cried out in pain as long bloody cuts lined his back as if he had been flogged. He dropped to his knees panting loudly and his eyes bright green. His blood dripped onto the floor as he looked at the ground holding back the pain.

"That is for disobeying me and not coming to me when I first called you back. I was sympathetic enough to allow you to see you precious angel again and that is how you repay me? I'm ashamed of you," Lucifer said in excitement. He enjoyed torturing his minions and causing pain to all those who served under him. "Stand up," he said cruely.

Marcus shakily rose to his feet, his back throbbing in many different places and his blood still running down his back. He stared foreward, his face blank as the Devil again placed his fiery hand on his shoulder. The hand glowed red and his symbol, the pentagram, was burnt into his shoulder. It didn't hurt very much, but Marcus knew it had some other meaning than to just give him pain. He continued to stare straight ahead waiting for his master to explain.

"You are wondering what this is supposed to do? No? Well, each time you do something to displease me, the symbol will send out a curse that will spread. It will start in your arms, one short stripe at a time, forming an intracite design, almost like a tattoo per say. Well, the more this spreads, the more pain i will be able to send through you untill you obey me. Lets just say this is your leash, and i'll be holding the end. Now, those one hundred souls you owe those goody two shoes you call angels, take them, I don't care, but know this, the minute you realease them from the vault, this curse will already cover both your arms and I will have a firmer grip upon your chain," Lucifer said with an evil smile and gesturing that he was free to go do as he pleased.

Marcus painfully bowed to his master, trying to hide the pain in his eyes. He staggered out of the hall and slumped down in the corridor. He was glad star hadn't had to see this. He knew she would ask him about the tattoo designs were on his arms and he would tell her, but he felt ashamed that he had to take obediently come to his master's calling like some mangy dog. He weakly stood up and walked towards the holding cell where Lucifer kept all the people's souls whom he had taken from earth when they died. He opened the vault and stepped inside, noting at how they all cringed back from him in fear. He gazed around the vast space, noting how many people there were. In a clear voice he said, "I need 100 of you, only 100, who have repented and would like to go up to heaven. I warn you, I can tell who has repented and who has not." He was flooded by many souls all wanting to be free, but he knew that only 100 would be allowed to leave. He chose mostly young children and older people whom he knew to be repented and they gratefully thanked him and were free. He finally counted out 100 and regretfully announced that he would take no more. The vault fell silent and he closed the door behind him. He felt bad for not freeing all of them, but the curse had worked just as his master had said and he could already see that both arms were covered in black tribal looking designs.
