Hello everyone smile
Karin timidly walks in behind Kyo. She bows and shyly says, "Hello everyone.."

Oh I haven't been in here for a while. I feel so bad... How is everyone?

Emerging excitedly Kenta greets Karin "Hey Karin!" Then blushes, realizing how many people are around..

Startled by the sudden appearance of Kenta, Karin jumps into the air. She blushes and says, "Ke.. Kenta-kun.. You scared me! How are you? Eh.. hhehehehe.."


"Oh! I-I'm fine. More importantly though, how is your...um" shifts uncomfortably and says quietly "your blood increasing problem, Karin?"


Karin whispers quietly, "Everything has been going.. umm, on schedule..." She nervously clears her throat and asks, "But, umm anyway.. How was your Thanksgiving?"

I'll be on later. Bye!

Kenta flinched when he realized what he said. Thinks 'Baka! I should have known Maaka gets emotional about this!'

"Ah, Thanksgiving was good. Mom and I had some food together. How was yours?" starts walking and eyes Karin's open hand.

Karin thinks angrily to herself, 'Oh my gosh! I am such an idiot!! I should have known that Kenta can't really afford those kinds of things.. even food.. He must think that I am so mean!!'

She nervously takes Kenta's hand and says, "Umm yes, it was fine.. Did you like the cake that I sent over to your house?"

Blushing Kenta grins and grasps Karin's hand. "Yeah! Mom and I really enjoyed it, it was so delicious. So thanks a lot!" Continues walking, then stops. "Oh! I-I hope it wasn't any inconvenience for you or anything!"

Karin panics and practically yells, "Kenta-kun! You really deserve it! You are the most deserving person I know.. and if you ever need help or.. anything.. I will be there to help you out.. because.."
Karin quickly releases Kenta's hand and turns away in embarassment..

"W-WAIT!"

A shocked Kenta grabs Karin's wrist. "K-Karin? Is your blood..." Kenta looks at her face with concern.

Karin sighs in relief as she thinks, 'Phew! That was close.. If he ever knew how I felt.. well, he could never like me that way anyway..'

She stammers, "Y-yes.. Its been a while since I have released it.. Its really not a big deal! Eh heheheh.."


Keeping a hold of Karin's arm.

"No, it is! It's either that or collapsing from a nosebleed." Pulling her closer "So get to it!"

Karin considers his offer and begins to lean forward. Her fangs begin to protrude in earnest and she leans forward. Right after her sharp teeth softly touch the skin of his neck, she gasps and pulls away.
She exclaims, "Usui-kun.. Someone could be looking.. we should go somewhere else.. quickly!"
She hangs her head in shame and feels a surge of unhappiness from the tall boy standing next to her.

A shocked Kenta understood immediately. "Right! Let's go, Maaka!" Kenta grabs Karin's wrist and bolts.
'No one can find us if we go there' He leads her to to the lake, hoping for a vacant area.
"Alright, Maaka, no one's here. This is your chance! Bite me!"

Karin bends over and pants heavily. The quick burst of running had made her blood pressure increase and she could feel her head pounding. Breathing heavily, she walks over to Kenta and puts her arms around his neck. She slowly sinks her teeth into his neck, and injects the hot blood. After a minute or so, she relinquishes her hold on Kenta and backs away slowly. She weakly utters, "Usui-kun... I'm.. I'm so sorry that I have to be such a bother.."
The ground beneath her begins to spin, and just before she fades out of consiousness, she sees a mass in the shadows. A human mass, not of Kenta's, but of a dark, cloaked-figure. She sees the figure run away right before her world turns black.

It hurt a little at first, then he began feeling dizzy. Consciousness slowly fading, he slumped to the ground. Just before the brink to unconsciousness, he managed to catch a glimpse of their "stalker"

"Ma...." He couldn't say any more, as he was already in a heap on the ground beside Karin.

The now fully shrouded figure hovered over the two. The figure lifted his hat, blonde wavy hair peeking from underneath.

Anju Maaka had been watching over her eldest sister for the past few hours, and she had gone undetected thanks to her shroud of bats. Now, she could see that both her sister and Kenta could be in serious trouble. Fearing for their safety, she sent away the bats and walked over to the mysterious man. She asked calmly and fearlessly, "Who are you? What do want?"
