An Elegy
The time has come
The time is now
I'll break away without a sound
Into the night
Of endless frights
A path unfolds
And to behold
The nightmares have been found

They lurk in the shadows
They prey on the weak
Forever they find
Forever they seek
Enveloped in a sea of fears
No one to cry to
No reason to shed tears

Forever you are lost
To darkness you are bound
You cannot get away
You shall never be found
