Amusing Thoughts About the Strange Emotinal States of Humans
Preapre for bashing of the human race because we friggin' deserve it.
Well, I am quite appalled by the state of the discipline of the children of the U.S., and/or other places if possible. I can not describe how shameful some children are.
I know understand why many people must rule by fear. They would not be able to control others otherwise.
I know that ruling by fear is wrong. I know that ruling by fear of death or torture breeds dissent. But that doesn't make it any less appealing when dealt with a team of unruly and uncontrollable group of children.

In the Americas, we have forgotten discipline. We have forgotten to teach children how to know when and how to obey. We have forgotten to take care of their character and have let them slip from our grasp. Many families are this way because of one person. Sometimes it's two. Most of the time it is most likely both.
We have coddled our children. We have babied them with cell phones, numerous toys they don't appreciate and to increase their image of themselves to a certain level.

It. Is. Ridiculous.

My own father, having soon read this, said, if that is how you feel, I will wake you up at Three in the Morning to take you to the gym and to work out and get you in shape. I am perfectly fine with that. Because it is discipline. He is not coddling me. He is not punishing me either. It is for my own sake and health.

This also ties in with the obesity that is ravaging our country. Since we have not DISCIPLINED our children, we have let them sit there all do doing nothing. We have completely, COMPLETELY let them go. Everyone must make an effort to stop this before we dig our hole so deep, we can't dig ourselves back out.

I am not proposing that we need to discipline them so much as that they lose all sight of who they are as an individual. I am just saying that it would be better for ALL of us if we taught them how to listen and to obey when needed. Without discipline, there is no order. Without order, there is only chaos. And chaos breeds melancholy, regret, and anger. These negative feelings create even more chaos and the whole cycle continues.

This is an example. I went to a music concert. It was a choir concert of young men and women from grades six through eighth. Their behavior was immaculate. They were singing in front of parents, grandparents, and other family.

Now, again, I went to see this same group sing in front of their school. They were in front of friends, friends, and more peers that would judge them much more harshly than their parents or family.

Their behavior was awful. As performers, they were awful in their discipline. Their singing voices were understandable, and not too bad. But they were very fidgety. They would not cease their talking in interludes. They came in a rush instead of walking in straight lines for the seats that were reserved by them. I was appalled.

Certainly this wasn't the same group of people that sang that one night in front of so many people! No, they were. They were no longer stoic young men and women, but rowdy boys and giggling girls that could not, WOULD NOT shut their fat mouths. I am disgusted.

This is the problem. There is a solution. Find one.

First of all: why so serious?
Also: "Most of the time it is most likely both." Isn't that like a double positive or something?????? =0
Besides being stricty-scary, good entry!
