Monster World Chapter 9 Battle in stripes' castle

Inside stripes castle, stripes spirit was eagerly awaiting for his soldiers to return for they had exactly what he needed to cast the dark rebirth spell and give him all the energy he'll need to make the spell work. Where are they? They should've warped back here by now. he said impatiently, then his soldiers appeared with the 5 young warriors all tied up. Ahh your all back and you brought the children here. Excellant. He said with an evil grin on his ghostly face. Hey, who are you calling kids you-huh? Ahh! A ghost. Ziran said, spooked by the spirit in front of him. Ziran tried to break free of his ropes but they were too tight for him to break.Well your a strong one aren't you? Stripes asked, taunting ziran. You bet I am. Ziran said.


Then boa and the others regained consciousness. Ziran who are you talking to? (gasps) No way, a real ghost. Boa said, looking at stripes. Who are you? Are you the one whos controlling these things? striker asked. My name is stripes and yes i am the one who commands thse wonderful creatures. Stripes said. Stripes, where have i heard that name before? Ziran asked himself. However, sarah recalled that name right away. (gasps) I remember that name. Master koji said that stripes was the man who was responcible for the spirit sword breaking up into pieces. Sarah said. they all recall that name immediately. You mean that this ghost is that evil doer koji spoke of? Ziran asked. Yes I am and you all have something I want. Stripes said. What could we have that you want? Chameleon asked while using a small knife to cut the ropes off his hands from behind his back. Your energy is what i want and those sword fragments your holding. Stripes said. What do you want with our energy? Boa asked with a sense of danger building up insdie of him. And what do you want with our sword fragments? Ziran said after boa's question. Silly children, im not just going to tell you all about the energy and as for the sword fragments. Im going to destroy them so hand them over. stripes said in a demanding tone. No way, our master gave us this fragment. There's no way im going to give it up now. striker said couragiously. And this is a royal family heirloom belonging to my family. Im not giving up mine either. Chameleon said. I wasn't asking you five, im commanding you. stripes said in a tone that sounded threatening. The answer is still no you phantom. Sarah said. Hmm, i admire your spirit girl but it wont do you much good here. I think I'll drain you first. Stripes chuckled evily.

Don't you dare lay a hand on her you creep. Ziran said. You think you can stop me? Dear boy, im afraid your no match for me and my minions. Stripes said to a frustraited ziran. Oh you think so? untie me and i'll bash all of your goons skulls with my bare hands. Ziran said. Im afraid that's going to happen. Stripes said unaware that chameleon was untieing himself and striker and boa were doing so as well. Ziran, calm down! We can handle this guy, so don't let him get to you! Boa said in a successful attempt to calm ziran down. He's right. We can beat them besides, I think it's about time for us to get out of here. striker said as he broke free from his bounds. I couldn't agree with you more. Chameleon said, free from his bounds as well. Ziran and boa too had broken free and they were ready to fight. No, you wont escape from my castle. Warriors attack!. Stripes commanded his troops and they obeyed him.

Both sides collided in battle but the four young men still have not fully recovered from their last battle and they were losing. Sarah was still tied up and she was trying to break free when she noticed her friends were in trouble. (gasp) Guys, guys no, don't lose. She said and then suddenly she remembered her previous fights and realized that everything her sister said about the locket was true. Every time she made a wish the locket glowed and the wish came true. She looked at her locket and said. Okay locket if you really are magical then I wish I could break free of these ropes so I can save my friends. The locket lit up like before and that familiar feeling from before came back. Her body glowed white as she broke free and her bodies glow casued everyone in the room to stop fighting and look right at her. No way, her exp went up again. 455? Hows that even possible? Chameleon thought, looking at his scanners read outs on sarah again. Alright, now you guys are in real trouble. Ziran said. Yeah now that sarah's with us, we'll mop the floor with you guys. Striker said. Hey guys, catch this! Boa said as he threw 2 bottles at ziran and striker. What's in these? Ziran asked. They're healing potions. I brought them incase we needed them. Boa said while fighting off a horde of shadow warriors. Wow thanks boa. Striker said. Yeah, I needed this. Ziran said after he and striker drank the potions. Any time guys. Boa said.

The shadow warriors were ready for round 2 but stripes was becoming frustrated with these five children. Enough! Im growing tired of this nonsense. Shadow warriors, i command you to drain them of all of their strength. Stripes said angrily. You wont get me a second time you bunch of vermin. Chameleon said as he knocked down 6 of them with his punches and tail swipes. Sarah with her new found strength, she was able to easily defeat 5 of these shadow warriors. Striker watched her back to knock away any monsters that tried to hurt sarah. Thanks for the protection striker. Sarah said. Don't mention it, you know I wouldn't leave you unprotected. Striker said and then he winked at her which caused her to blush a light pink color.

Ziran and boa were side by side, surrounded by dozens of shaow warrirs but they weren't backing down. Ziran punched five into submission and boa zapped eight that tried to dogpile on them. Nice work ziran. You beat up five of these bozo's. Boa said. I know, woah. look at striker go. I didn't know he could move that fast. Ziran said and boa saw striker's fast movements as well. Stripes was impressed by their efforts but he couldn't let them stop his plans. This was no good. They're too much for my soldiers. Those brats wont ruin my plans. Stripes thought as his anger was rising but he had thought of a way to get what he wanted. He casted a spell to drain all of their energy by using his own ghostly hands. He flew right through them one by one. He stole a portion of their strength, they all felt a cold chill as stripes passed right through them and then they all felt like their strength had left them. I told you I would take away your powers one way or another. Stripes said chuckling like a madman. This guy really is a ghost, he went right through me, and he stole my energy. chameleon said, feeling like half his strength was gone. Now be good little children and stay right where you are! i'll need this energy and all of my concentration for a spell. stripes said. A spell? What kind of spell? Boa asked, concerned at what this ghostly fiend was planning. Ha ha ha, lets just say that it'll make me very lively. I'll see you five later. stripes said as he left the room through a wall. His men stood guard over the only door leading out of the room.

The evil guards were watching the five young warriors for any sudden moves. They are vey observant, but chameleon wasn't backing down. If they think these guards are going to hold me down. They're dead wrong. Chameleon thought. He reached into one of his back pockets and pulled out some big food pellets. Chameleon snuck one into his mouth with out the guards noticing. However, striker noticed and wondered' What is he doing? A food pellet at a time like this? He must be up to something.


Meanwhile stripes' ghost was in a dark room full of books and bottled items that were used for evil spells. Stripes had placed the energy he stole in a large jar he made just for this occasion. Yes, the jar is almost ready for the ritual and when it is, all of monstra will bow to me. Stripes snickered in satisfaction as he made preparations for his rebirth. Back in the thrown room, chameleon was reaching for his dartgun. Chameleon, what are you doing? Sarah whispered because of the 12 guards at the door. shh, i'm trying to save us by tranquilizing those shadow creeps. Chameleon loaded is tranquilizer gun to fire. Sarah had no choice but to trust the same guy who had kidnapped her an hour ago. Hey bucket heads. Why don't you guys take a nap?! Chameleon screamed as he shot at all the guards. The darts knocked them out instantly. Woah, that was sneeky and cunning. Boa said wide eyed. Man, im glad we're not fighting him. striker said. Ziran and boa noded in agreement. Come on guys, lets go before those guards wake up. Sarah said. stirker, ziran and boa got up and followed sarah and chameleon.

They ran through the dark-narrow halls, looking for a way out but so far there was no exit anywhere. So what are we gonna do? Ziran asked while trying to catch his breath. First, we're gonna find that ghost and take back our energy. Then we will have no trouble getting out of this place. Striker said. Boa can you find stripes with that locator spell of yours? Ziran asked, hoping the answer was yes. I've been trying but his aura is all over this place. I'll try again. Boa concentrated as hard as he could to find stripes and as luck would have it, he found him. I got him. Really? Where is he? Sarah asked. Down this hall, he's in the last door on the right. boa told his friends. Nice work boa. Now lets go get him. Sarah said.

They all ran towards the room where that evil spirit was hiding in and they were about to catch him by total surprise. They cam to the door of the mysterious potion room and they barged in without hesitaiting. Stripes was caught offguard while in the process of summoning more warriors. What the heck? Stripes spoke in sudden curiousidy. Hey legless, remember us? Ziran said in a annoying tone. Stripes was shocked and he felt deep rage building inside of him. What? How did you get away from my soldiers? He spoke in annoyance. They were not as tough as you hoped. Chameleon said with enjoyment. You might say that they're snoozing on the job. Striker added to bug stripes. Grrrr No matter. There's more where they came from. Now give us back our energy! Sarah said in a strong tone. Not a chance. It's all mine now. Last time I only took half of your total energy but now i'm going to take what's left inside your bodies. Stripes gloated at them. He tried to pull the same power drain spell as before on striker but was thwarted by striker's sword fragment which somehow protected him with a red aura that was giving off heat. What? no my spell didn't work. Stripes dispaired as his spell vanished. However, it was only temporary. Chameleon couldn't believe what he saw and his scanners manage to pintpoint striker's sudden power surge.Wow, this is amazing. How am i doing this? Striker asked. No way, it's coming from his sword fragment. chameleon told them. Sarah was as amazed as the rest of them. Boa and ziran were suprised as well but they didn't lose focus. Stripe was taking avantage of the situation to grab the jar and fly away. Not so fast stripes. Ziran ran towards stripes and knocked the jar out of his palms and it broke open, releasing all of the energy he stole and it split into six orbs and they returned to their rightful owners. No, I wont stand for this. Warriors of the castle come forth! He called and several soldiers appeared. Oh no, not these guys again. What are we gonna do? Sarah asked. The soldiers in masks came closer as they all thought of a plan of action.
