"One week before christmas a horrible accident occured. Santas little helpers fell ill! There was a chance there was not going to be a christmas. But one brave little elf went up to Mr. Claus and asked if he could call the heavens. Santa, who had a recent feud with God's brother, was afraid the sky up above would decline to help them out. But Rondo, the brave little elf I mentioned before, said that he would not let this moronic dispute get in the way of a Happy Christmas! Especially not after 499 years of helping the humans put all their troubles aside for one day!
So Rondo walked up the rainbow and knocked, knocked, knocked on heavens door. A blue eye peeked through the peep hole and asked in a squeeky voice what his business were.
Rondo gathered his courage and explained the problem. The little elf giggled and let him in.
Lycretia, that was the name God had given this little creature, lead Rondo up to the Lord.
Rondo told Him his story again and pleaded to help them out, after all, eventhough the humans made a lot of mistakes, they deserved one moment in the year where everyone could be happy and grateful.
God was moved by the courage this little guy had shown and let the Heavenly Elves help the Earthly Elves. For this one year, the green little creatures were replaced by their blue counterparts.
And that is how Christmas was saved this year.
