Katsumi: Hello again, Lunar the White Wolf.

Lunar the White Wolf: I know you said you didn't have anything urgent for me to do for you, but does that imply you do need help with something that's *not* urgent?

Katsumi: You are clever, friend. Indeed, I do. There is an item I've been given from one who defeated a Kokeshi Doll. That item is something I call 'Mystic Weave' because it has odd...properties.

Lunar the White Wolf: Odd properties? What do you mean?

Katsumi: There are disciplines that I have learned from my father and uncle that allow me to see into this weave. I am almost certain that given enough experimentation, I might discern some pattern or reason behind the force that drives the Animated!

Tsyphis: psh. ill stay

Lunar the White Wolf: That's fantastic!

Katsumi: Also, unforuntately, it is also optimistic. The combination of things that I might try seems countless, and each time I try one of the tests, the Weave I use is destroyed.

Lunar the White Wolf: Ah! So you need help gathering more of the Mystic Weave then?

Katsumi: Yes, exactly! Would you do that for me, Lunar the White Wolf?

Lunar the White Wolf: Sure! I'll go gather Mystic Weave from the Kokeshis for you. How many do you need?

Katsumi: Please bring me five to start. Thank you for your help!

Lunar the White Wolf: No problem.

Arnold: You look battle hardened, citizen.

Lunar the White Wolf: I've been through a fracas or two.

Arnold: I thought so. You've got the look. Listen, I could use your help if you're interested.

Lunar the White Wolf: I suppose I am. What do you need?

Arnold: Well, it's just me and Burton over there to guard this gate into Town, and during the daytime, that's just not a big problem.

Lunar the White Wolf: I'm sensing a 'but...' coming in this conversation.

Arnold: But...at nighttime, those creepy, licky lanterns come out, and quite frankly, they're so dang random that I don't trust them to just suddenly decide to storm the gate for no reason at all!

Lunar the White Wolf: Do you want me to stand guard with you or something?

Arnold: No. We've got that part covered. But it would sure ease my mind if you could sort of 'thin the herd' on the lanterns for me tonight, reducing their numbers before morning. If you could do that, I'm sure I could find a way to reward you for the effort.

Lunar the White Wolf: Sure! I'd be glad to help!

Arnold: Great! Then tonight, before the cherry fluffs start appearing at dawn, I need you to take out at least twenty of those crazy lanterns. Remember...get back to me before dawn, or the deal's off.

Lunar the White Wolf: Okay. I'll be back before dawn!
