Kris looked around, to see who was calling her name.

-"Isn't that... your mother?" - Rhyokyo asked pointing to her-.

-"Yeah!" - Kris giggled as they both walked upto her-.

As they walked people started to stare at Kris, since she had her white, black tipped fox ears and pure white fox tail out. Kris's walking pace started to decrease when she started noticing that everyone was staring at her, some amazed, but most, laughing. "A freak of nature" , she heard some say, "poor thing" some others said. Soon, she found herself standing there, looking around, wondering where to go, she was surrounded, preocupied and somewhat scared. She couldn't see Rhyokyo anywhere, nor her mother, a circle of strangers is all she saw. The only ones who dared to close her in such circle, are the people who were making fun of her, critizicing her, making her feel unhuman, even though she knew she was different to start with.

-"Where's Kris?" - Miriam asked looking at Rhyokyo-.

-"She's right..." - he looked back -"She was with me a moment ago..." - he wondered -"Kris?!?" - he started to look around and thought she might be between a large group of people he saw from afar-.

Some where laughing, but the rest were confronting her, saying many sorts of things to her.

-"What do you want from me?..." - Kris asked looking for an exit but non could be found-.

-"Nothing, I mean, you're just another freak" - someone said-.

-"She doesn't even deserves to live" - a girl said-.

-"Maybe we can pull those out and see if they're fake!" - a man said laughing and people agreeing with him-.

Kris, on the floor, was helpless, she was not the fighting type. She tried to cover herself as she saw that everyone was getting closer.

-"Stop!" - a boy shouted -"Have you no decency?" - the boy asked standing infront of Kris -"Who are you to decide this girl's life???" - he asked once more-.

Some understood and stepped back, but the man with the strange idea kept walking closer.

-"Step aside boy, you shouldn't stand up to defent such a thing" - he grinned pushing the boy aside-.

As he was about to grab Kris to pull her, he felt a hand stopping him.

-"You... dare touch her, and you'll be dead by far..." - Rhyokyo said in a serious tone-.

-"Oh, well, if it isn't another freak" - the man laughed, but everyone thought he was pushing them too much-.

-"Freak? What's with that word?" - Rhyokyo asked pushing the man to back off from them-.

Kris stood to see, Rhyokyo came to save her once more. Her mother called Kris to see if she was alright, but Kris was also worried for Rhyokyo.

-"You both are going to die, you freaks of nature!" - the man shouted ready to hit Rhyokyo-.

Rhyokyo evaded his 'powerful blow' and kicked his face. Then he stood his ground as he saw that the man had fallen to the ground, bleeding.

-"I didn't even know I could do that..." - Rhyokyo said to himself-.

-"You... monster!!" - the man said, trying to get up and cleaning the blood from his nose-.

-"You asked for it..." - Rhyokyo replied-.

As the man stood up, he was pulled by his wife. "Don't do that again!" his wife said slapping him, "who do you think you are?" they both argued and walked away from the scene. Everyone stared at Rhyokyo and walked away.

-"Im sorry..." - Rhyokyo said, he didn't meant harm nor to scare anyone-.
