I have developed a certain kind of crush whee on the character Koizumi Itsuki upon reading some of the Haruhi Suzumiya light novels (these are some of the rare items I would actually buy, so I can't wait for their release ^_^). So here are my reasons/conclusions upon this chara:
- in fandom, I got the feeling that KoizumiXKyon is some sort of canon eek and now I understand why biggrin
- in the softball game, Koizumi got to be the catcher xd (though I think I like him more as seme... sweatdrop )
- Kyon hates him for no reason?! Wait, there has to be a reason... to some extent, I got the feeling he is jealous of Koizumi's devotion/understanding of Haruhi; but we can always make up a different reason twisted
- the characters with two different personalities are awesome heart (even though he might not be the evil guy, he still gives off that aura)
- I like the fact that he is always smiling, even if it's fake, in fact, maybe because it is fake, it's funny that he can lie while keeping such an appearance, makes me think of Raito XD
- opposite to Kyon, I like his tendency for infinite speeches, even if I don't fully understand what he means xd
Leaving Itsuki aside, I noticed the fact that Kyon can be paired up with all of the brigade members, while Haruhi can't (I mean if we want the coupling to seem plausible based on the relationships the characters have so far). Does that make Kyon the main character? question
