My shopping list
I'll be writing about the items I want to get, and strategies to get them.
After all the troubles and drama, I have finally bought a Year of the Rabbit. It was around 20k, then shot up to 1 million then got down, then shot up again, and I finally managed to buy it today for 40k. I'm so happy. Here's what the item description says:
Year of the Rabbit - Although the Rabbit is considered the luckiest sign, all born under this sign are actually doomed. DOOOOOOMED! Rabbit years include 1975, 1987 and 1999.
However this was not the description originally intended for this item. When the Chinese Zodiac items arrived in the Cash Shop, there was an announcement with a brief description for each item. All the other Years kept the descriptions from the announcement except the Rabbit. I wonder why. Anyway, here's the original description: Rabbits are considered to be the luckiest of the Eastern zodiac signs. They're great with details, and they're very compassionate despite being somewhat reserved and conservative. Rabbit years include 1975, 1987 and 1999.

wow, congrats! hmm, that price fluctuation sounds strange... o_o;
hey, that is pretty interesting! I had no idea about the item description... though I was rather bothered that my zodiac sign was described as "DOOOOOMED!" lol. Not the best feeling, even if they are joking sweatdrop

The reason for the price fluctuation was this - there were very few items left listed, and at one point, someone bought the last listed Year of the Rabbit. It was around 50k. Then for a while, there were no Rabbits listed on the MP. And then the first person to put it on the MP priced it like... 3 million or something. A lot of people wanted to take an advantage there, so they started selling it again, and within 24 hours, it got down to like... 200k. But I was like: "No way that I'm going to pay that much for an item that was 20k last week. It'll get down." (And, I was nowhere near 6 figures with my gold amount.) It got to 50-60k and stood there for a while. After that, demand got bigger than supply again, and it got to 100k or something. Not because all were sold, but the cheaper ones were, and the 6 figure-priced ones were the only ones left. Then people wanted to make big bucks of a small item again, and started selling it again, so it eventually came down to 40k. And I just happened to have that much. So I bought it. I was so afraid that someone would snatch it before me, and I didn't have money for the next cheapest one, which was like... 45k. But, luckily, I managed to buy it. blaugh

Yeah, it was like... 18000 for awhile. And there were like 45 listings on the MP. These days, there were never more than 20 listings.
