Hello everybody! This is the launching post for my journal, "The Inner Workings of SeraphicTune." Well, just before, I was going to name it "The Inner Thoughts of SeraphicTune," but I think I like this one better. xD Well, just wanted to review a couple books I read recently.

A couple weeks ago, I read The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon. It was pretty good, different from what I usually read. Christopher is such an interesting character...but I feel bad for him cry I saw it in my school library and I remembered reading about it in a different book so I picked it up...along with some book about the Turning Point, but it was only vaguely interesting.

Also after that I believe I read Sister Wife by Shelley Hrdlitschka. It was slightly disturbing, I've never read a book on polygamy, so it was interesting too. Ah, I really like Celeste's character but Nanette just annoys me. I think what disturbed me was that Celeste was only like...15 and...ewww. But it was a good read. mrgreen

And then I read The Pact by Jodie Picoult. It was interesting, I couldn't really put it down, I wanted to know how the trial went. The slightly disturbing part to me was the flashback of Emily being molested at McDonalds (spoiler, highlight if you wish). But then again, if Chris hadn't dared her to go into the men's bathroom(spoiler), if would never have happened. But all in all, it was a good message that displayed very realistic events.

About two days ago, I finished Impossible by Nancy Werlin, and I have to say, it was my first fantasy novel since a while, but it really wasn't "fantasy." I quite enjoyed it and some parts even made me swoon slightly, lol. xD But that Padraig Seely character...creeped me out a bit...I'd definitely punch him.

And that's it for now. I'm currently reading Hush by Donna Jo Napoli, she's a good author, but I'm finding the beginning to be sorta slow, I want to skip to the action but then I'd miss out. *sigh* Hopefully it gets good soon.

New Shugo Chara Doki! episode was released today, I believe it was ep 67. Crunchyroll pretty much sucks nowadays, so I'm replying on other streaming sights. I'm looking forward to a new Skip Beat episode, Kyoko so funny ^^

So I've been having a somewhat Arashi/Nino obsession lately, I finished Yamada Taro Monogatari (with Nino and Sho), and it was really cute. xD So I'm watching Ryusei No Kizuna right now. I quite like Toda Erika's acting in this one. In Nobuta...she was kinda like...not important and in Tatta Hitotsu no Koi ( I only watched a couple eps so far) she seemed a bit too girly, but her Shizuna is funny (kill, kill, kill, ROFL). And I'm also watching Stand Up! Maybe I should just one drama at a time, lol.

I just discovered Hiraoka Yuta is starring in some new dramas...must go watch, which reminds me to finish Daisuki! and First Kiss. Also, I FINALLY figured out who that actor in Jyongri's Winter Love Story PV was, it's Sakurada Dori! lol Nice sleuthing skills, ne?

Hmm...my finger started bleeding again today...without me noticing. I was plugging in my cell charger and noticed blood pooling in my fingernail...and I'm just like, "Again?" I must have opened that cut from Friday. At least it wasn't painful mrgreen Oooh, I might go ice-skating tomorrow. I haven't been ice-skating in...years...literally rofl So I'm SUPER EXCITED for that. Oh right, Happy Chinese New Year everybody! hehe

Oh right, question: what's the difference betwen 'questing' and 'wanting' an item? I dunno, but I've already thought out my "dream avatar" but it will take a lot gold... *sigh* mada mada dane, biggrin
