I keep my tongue bitten
For I don't believe you'll understand
The odd things I do and say,
It's all done because it's who I am.
But then again, maybe you do understand,
Yet it's no comfort me to me knowing
Because I don't understand you,
Different emotions keep coming and going.
I can't see a point in wasting time,
Living in the past hurts my heart,
Knowing things that weren't, hurts,
And knowing I did things not so smart.
A heart that keeps breaking,
Because you refuse to let it heal,
Time is what is needed here,
Not false love I can't feel.
