I lie about how I'm feeling,
I tell you a secret I promised to keep,
I give you a flower just because,
I comfort you when I don't want to,

I start smoking in a corner,
I walk down a dark alley,
I tell you everything is okay,
I get hurt while the people in this world just shrug,

I kiss your tear stained cheek,
I wipe away your tears,
For once I care about someone,
And it just so happens to be you.
