Prologue
This is a story about an Echidna who had his life completely turned around. As he got older, he realized why he was acting so strange. His name was Damen. Damen doesn't know where he was born, or the whereabouts of his parents. He was found on a doorstep of a hedgehog familiy. A pile of clothes and a note were left beside him; A pink shirt, Blue shorts, Pink shoes, and 4 Gold bands. The note read: "On this 1 year child's 16th anniversary, he must where these garments and he must find his destiny." Around the child's neck was an amulet stating his birthday: "18th of March..."
Chapter I
Damen and Scott
Here, in the town of McMeere, we meet Damen, a few days before his 16th birthday, and Scott, a light blue hedgehog whose parents are the caretakers of Damen. They've been friends ever since. Hey Damen! said Scott. What is it Scott? replied Damen. I found this cave hidden in McMeere Woods! But, how can there be a cave... in the middle of the woods? Well, it was covered is moss and it looked like a bunch of rocks. Until then, did I notice what looked like an opening. Did you go inside? No... I cleared up the opening so we could go explore it some time later, though! Do you remember how to get back to the cave? No... But I placed twigs all over the place. Uh... Scott? The woods are full twigs. Oh... God damnit! Damen sighs and tells Scott he'll go with him the day of his birthday. Scott agrees and they both head home. School is coming, only a week after Damen's birthday. As him and Scott get ready, the 3 days have passed and Damen is now 16. Scott's mother remembers the day she found Damen. She explains to him why he must wear the clothes given to him. He finds it strange that he likes the clothes. Damen then goes to Scott to explore the cave that he mentioned a few days ago. Scott looks at Damen and asks; What the hell are you wearing!? I dunno? Your mother told me to wear this. I happen to like it. You look fruity. Aw, come on. Don't be a hater! I'm not. You just look so stupid in those clothes! Maybe I do! But, I enjoy them. Scott sighs; Whatever... You want to go explore that cave now?[/cyan] Well, that was my initial plan. Lets go!
