This hasn't been the best week for Apple's OS developers and testers.
The OS 10.4.3 client and server updates came out and I'm really glad I held back. Not for big reasons but for little details like the energy savings issues that plague the computer controlled fans that many G5 computers now rely on.
I've held back on advice of my close friend Floyd. He's a victim of the problem. However, I must move forward and install it on our test bed XServe G4 blade. I'll have a report on the outcome of this early next week. Crossing my fingers!
