This Valentine's Day Was Eventful, Though It's Not Over Yet
So it's V-Day. That time of year again...
I was feeling quite optimistic (See journal entry), so I awoke with a bright smile, ready to--
UGH. The torrent of pain hit me like a tidal wave, rocking my brain in my skull. I could barely walk I was so dizzy, my eyes were red and bloodshot, my voice was thick and phlegmy, and my entire ribcage hurt. Hello, sickness. Valentine's Day has a disliking for me, it seems.
So I went to Karate with my pops and sat out for two hours, then I felt a WEENSY bit better, though my head was still pounding and all headachey. I made it (barely) through a trip to the grocery store, then I went home.
I didn't feel like being inside so I went and sat in the sun on my driveway for three hours, sketching and just stretching out. While I was out there, my grandpa on my dad's side called me to say happy Valentine's Day. Then, I called my grandma on my mom's side to wish her the same.
After going inside, I turned my computer on. Then, my grandpa called again. I was all "Hello again!" And he was like "I'm outside!" And I was like "(WTF) Okay, be right out." What worried me about this was that my grandpa and dad are having a bit of "trouble", and I was hoping he wasn't here to see my dad because that would be sucky and troublesome. But he wasn't.
When I came out, he was all "Happy Valentine's Day!" And pulled out some flowers from behind his back. He was all ": D!" and I was all "<3!"
So, it was an (almost) good day, even though I feel like s**t. I have a show to do tonight, so I have NO clue how I'm going to make it through that. :/ I shall update you on my survival/death later.
