The Rain never felt so cold
I watched as it fell endlessly
I walked out as it fell upon my head
Waiting, waiting for whomever was waiting for me
I felt stupid
There was no one there
I walked around aimlessly
Thoughts such as betrayal
Abandonment went through my head
I felt like I fell into despair
Walking in the cold rain
I wondered, where I should go now
No matter what I wished
The cold drops of water
Would not stop
Would never stop
Eventually
I felt numb
The cold fear swept through me
I found it
Where I was supposed to go
I did not look closely enough
It was there all along
So toward my light, I go
The cold rain, I washed it away along with my sorrow...
