Necchan has a Blurb~
I don't actually know. Stuff. I'm pretty random, and sometimes moody, so you never know what you're gonna get. Lots of my writing, that's for sure.
Love and Other Disasters [Chapter Fourteen]
DUN DUN DUN! I know you've all been waiting for this chapter! DUN KILL ME! AND NEJI_TENTEN, OF COURSE I LOVE YOU FOR COMMENTING! I LOVE YOU ALL FOR COMMENTING!
Anyway, read!

Dating. Alek and I are DATING. Wow.

“Class, we have a new student. I’d like you all to welcome Aterra Halestone,” Mr. Forrester said.
“Hello, Aterra,” the class chimed in unison. She looked back at us, her deep green eyes expressionless. Eventually she nodded, her long brown hair falling around her shoulders.
“There’s an empty seat you can take in the back,” Mr. Forrester instructed. Aterra moved swiftly and quietly to the back. A barely audible, “Princess…Alek,” was heard as she passed our desks. I turned back to face him.
“That’s my cousin,” he said slowly.
“Is she also a magician?” I asked. Alek nodded.
“And if Aterra’s here, Aimee, her sister, is also here.” Mr. Forrester had started his lesson and snapped at Alek and I, signaling us to be quiet.
All through class I stole glances at Aterra. And every time I did, she was staring right back at me.

“Aterra, what are you doing here?” Alek demanded.
“Uncle Isaac sent us,” she quietly replied.
It was after school, and the three of us were walking to the public library.
“So Aimee is here. Why did Isaac send you?”
“He said you would need our help.” Alek rolled his eyes, as if he was saying, Right. Like I'd actually need help.
“How old is Aimee, exactly?” I cut in, trying to avoid the oncoming argument.
“Four,” Aterra responded. Alek, Aterra, and I continued to talk while we walked to the library. By the time we’d gotten there and I returned my borrowed books, I learned that Aterra was fifteen and a genius. She had the magic to make herself and others look older. Aimee had magic to influence people’s decision making, which probably is incredibly clever.
“Where is Aimee, anyway?” I asked as I pulled open the door to the day-care center to retrieve Yasuo.
“Here,” Aterra answered. I felt I had to strain my ears to listen to her soft voice; quiet wasn’t something I was used to.
“Nami, Nami!” Yasuo came flying toward me and hugged my legs. “Nami, I made a new friend today! Her name is Aimee Hillstain!” I glanced over at Alek and caught him trying not to laugh. Aterra sighed. Suddenly, another girl about Yasuo’s age was standing next to me.
“Are you Nami Silvers?” she asked, staring up at me and narrowing her eyes.
“Yeah, I am,” I curtly retorted. Honestly. Children these days. When did they stop respecting older people around them?
The girl suddenly smiled brightly, her green eyes dancing. I guess I take it back. She’s okay.
“Oh, it’s so nice to finally meet you! I’m super jealous Aterra got to you first; I’m Aimee Halestone!” she exclaimed, adding extra emphasis to her last name, correcting Yasuo.
Aimee was the exact opposite of her older sister. She was lively and chattery and bright; Aterra was small and quiet and kept to herself. The only real proof I found of them being related to each other were their deep green eyes and dark chestnut hair.
“Alright, let’s go,” Alek said impatiently, tapping his foot. I picked up Yasuo, attempting to play a hand game with Aimee, and put him on my hip. “Okay, okay. No need to be such a grouch,” I said, smiling. Aimee laughed, and Aterra’s face changed into the beginnings of a smile.
Taking my hand, Alek whispered, “Not much makes Aterra smile. Good luck.” I glowered at him, and he grinned in response.
“I love you, too, Nami.” He kissed my cheek, making me blush.

I pulled the blankets to Yasuo’s chin and kissed his forehead as I put him to bed.
“Did I tell you what you smell like today?” he asked, yawning.
“What do I smell like today?” I smiled at him adoringly.
“A spring meadow…”
“Really? I think that’s a new one. Get some sleep now, okay?” Yasuo nodded, yawning again.
“Good night, Nami.”
“Night, Yasuo.”
