The Sea of Remembering

A sea of black, crashing along shore.
Only leaving me alone, wanting it more.
Winds of the waters, whipping across my face.
An ocean of fear, my lonely place.
To this beach, my soul, my fate hath brought.
My solemn place of wishing.
Alone with my thoughts.
The memories of life, flash along the sky.
Watching, remembering, the life that has passed me by.
The waters around me, calm and slowly drift.
As the feelings of those memories begin to shift.
The times I have had, feeling the warmth of love.
Witnessing those memories that the sky was replaying above.
Then, the remembrance of that day, was dancing across the clouds.
The emotions trapped inside of me, I could no longer keep in shrouds.
The loss of her, the loss of love, my will to quickly end it all.
As the hurt in me starts to grow, I feel myself begin to fall.
The waters turn fierce, throwing me every which way.
I knew that I wanted this, to be my dying day.
Enveloped by the sea, I slowly fall asleep.
Sinking, descending, being crushed by the deep.
I see nothing, fear nothing, but I can still feel the pain.
The hurt playing around inside me.
Driving me
Insane…..
