So, I, as predicted, epically failed my solo and got the worst score I've ever gotten (3/5, 1 being the best). I really think I played my solo better than a 3, but the judge didn't think so, and its really depressing because I played better in the warm-up rooms. I worked my a** off trying to learn that ******** solo for at least four months, and it was all for nothing. My friend, Tara, got a 2 for the first time ever, as well. (Last year she advanced to state) So, due to the need to vent, we went to a park and pretty much exhausted ourselves until we couldn't think about anything but sleep, only now, not only am i exhausted and sore, but i have to stay awake and study for an AP test that i'll probably fail since i don't have my textbook, and, overall, life sucks at the moment.
