Chapter 25
Emmy, thanks for pointing out that It's Prof. Not Dr. xDDD;

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lily ran down to recieve her mother and sister, coming back from town. A brilliant smile was on her face cute enough to make anyone smile as well. The three got in and went to the kitchen to put the 'groceries' in the kitchen. However, Lily ran into Rhyokyo, he didn't notice her because he was too focused pondering until she interrupted his thoughts.

-"Oh, Lily, be careful" - Rhyokyo said in a different tone to her-.

-"Im sorry..." - she apologized dearly -"What's wrong? You look... weird..." - she said looking at him innocently-.

-"Oh? I do?" - he looked himself on a mirror placed in the living room -"I don't see anything 'weird'..." - he held himself from laughing-.

-"I didn't meant it like that!" - she laughed when she saw he was smirking -"You... I feel like there's something wrong." - she stated after laughing-.

-"Oh, it's probably nothing, I mean, it's not like it matters, right?" - he smiled lightly-.

-"If you say so" - Lily said smiling as well-.

Kris went upto her room, quiet, contemplating what everyone had said, what had happened. She thought to herself "what if I am a... 'freak'..." she thought sadly, tormented as she was rejected. Clearly looks didn't matter to her, she was frustrated to think that people could just mis-judge by how they looked, not how they tried to act. Helpless, she stared out the window, at the blue sky, ready to be followed by the sunset, covered with the sun's shine and change in the contrast as they blend together to form the night. Deeo within her, she knew she couldnt pay attention to them, or she would be a prisoner to some society that refused to look for what's inside, to what people try to hide, that they instead judge by pretty looks, that of course, most fool into luring a 'victim' into an unpleasant end. At this point she was neutral, able to think both positive and negative thoughts. She sat on the chair, the night slowly made it's way into the sky, as stars slowly began to appear, big and small, colorful and plain white. Smiling to herself, she recalled having a conversation with her deceased father, when she was younger...

-"Daddy..." - Kris said crying to her dear father-.

-"My princess, why do you cry? What could ever make you feel like this?" - he said comfortly picking her up-.

-"Daddy... why do people call me names? Why do they laugh at me everytime I pass by?" - Kris said weeping-.

-"My dear, they are jealous of your different looks, your beautiful face and hair, I mean, who has the bluest hair and eyes? Blue as the deep sky, as the pure water. Don't mind them, they're just jealous." - He said smiling softly to her little child-.

-"But but but... are they right? Am I really a 'freak of nature?'" - Kris asked with tears on her eyes and a very sad, tormented voice-.

-"My little rpincess, you are not such thing, you are just clearly more different than them, and they are jealous of the fact that they can't be so outstanding as you are. You are very special, to me and your mother my dear, you're a beautiful gift from heaven, that even if people may say things, that are not nice, they dont matter, unless you make it matter. You see, being different is a good thing, because you see a change, that at least you are not like anyone. And with time, they will learn to appreciate. People are easily fooled with looks, glances and things that are material, when they should think more of what's inside, this should matter more to them, more than anything in the world, right here." - Her father said, touching he place where her daughter's heart is with a finger-.

-"My heart, daddy?" - Kris asked while his father wiped away her tears-.

-"Yes my dear" - he smiled-.

-"But... are there more like me?... Or... am I the only one like this...?" - she hesitated to ask-.

-"My dear, don't worry if you're the only one or not, what makes you unique, is who you are, not what you are, not what you look like. And have faith, because I'm sure you are not alone in this world." - he answered certainly, smiling, encouraging her little offspring-.

Kris's tears ran down slowly, smiling, glad to have recalled her long lost father, a memory she will treasure forever.

-"Father... I do not know why did you leave... all I know is that there's a purpose... but... I miss you... So dearly..." - Kris said looking down, the moon shining through the window-.
