watching the days pass
nothing has changed
it is always the same
not for the better
not for the worst
it left the things
that needed it most
the spring has frozen
into a heartless world
cold with the exsistance of man
leaching out every warmth
nothing is happy anymore
change has given up on us
leaving man to die in their own filth
anything good has eluded us
keeping everything else safe
the butterfly has fluttered
pushing back the ice
if only we could be as free
