Ryu had his feet up on the table, his armor reflecting the glow of a nearby fire in a fireplace. Well, his armor was on a stand by the fireplace, he was in his tunic. A bottle of whiskey in one hand and the other was on his stomach. He was sitting in a hotel room off an old road. His wings were hid away with a spell he had cast. "Hm, haven't been on earth for two thousand years and this is what they do with it?" Ryu said now looking at the local newsprint "March 15, 1862" Ryu, although he appeared to be in his early twenties, was actually two thousand fifty-two. He had been existing in the dragon world where time had passed slower than it did in the human realm. Two men walked into the room, both of them with very western attire on. "Heard you were looking for some mercenary work stranger." Ryu nodded his head. The man continued "We got some outlaws stealing banks, and we have rumors that they're coming to steal from here."
"How much we talkin' here chief?" Ryu said quickly, he was then slammed three wanted posters on the table infront of him, each one had a total of three thousand dollars on them. The man then threw a pistol on the table "You might want to use this, instead of..." The man pointed to his sword and armor "that." Then they both walked out.
Ryu took a sip of his whiskey. He took a deep breath and examined the faces on the posters carefully, he examined each of the men's faces, but the third person was a woman. He exactly knew how they worked. The woman would charm her way to distract the men working the banks. While the other two would quickly steal from the safe, one man would crack the lock the other man would take as much as they could grab. The woman would continue to seduce the men at the counter of the bank, then the two men would get out of the nearest out of site window. All Ryu would have to do is stop them before they got into town. They wouldn't arrive from the street, since there was only one road leading into and out of that small town. Ryu knew what he had to do and slept right on that chair knowing what he was going to do the next day. Before he fell asleep he said "A great general reduced to killing petty crooks, this is not what I expected."
