devil hunter girl's journal
Well it will be full of random things. I will write about what I want to write about.
I need to get over a fear I have of sharing my writing with other people. So here I am and the followign is a peice of a book I am writing. I have changed some of the names and such in the entry because I don't want people to copy my work. So here it is.

Reno paced back and fourth on the windowsill of the skyscraper about twenty stories in the air. He knew that this was the right office, the one that his father worked in, but he wasn't there. He must have been in a meeting. Always the buisness man. He felt nervous about this. After all the last time he had talked to his father was over the phone three years ago, he hadn't acctually seen his own father's face in a much longer time. He surpressed the urge to run. This wasn't something he wanted to do, but it was for her.
"For Bella." Reno thought as the light to his father's office snapped on and he walked into the room with a woman, probably his secretary.
The woman seemed to gasp and drop all of her papers as she saw Reno standing up there outside the window. His father shook his head and said something to the woman. She left the room without collecting the papers she dropped. The red haired man looked to be in his mid thirties but no one would have guessed that he was well over a hundred. He walked to the window and opened it slowly. Reno hopped inside and started to get a better look of the office.
"You always did have a pension for the dramatic but this was a little thoughtless, Reno. You almost scared my secretary to death." His father said as if it had only been weeks since they last saw each other and not years.
"Well then I guess I would be living up to your reputation then wouldn't I?" Reno shot back without emotion.
His father flinched. It had been a cheap shot but he couldn't help it. His father went and sat behind his desk, suddenly looking very old. There was silence between them for what seemed like an eternity.
"I didn't mean that." Reno growled the apology.
"Yes you did. You shouldn't apologise unless you mean it Reno. What is it that you need. I don't beleive that this is a social call." The oldert man said as he began writing in some floders that he brought in.
Reno sighed, always the buisness man.
"I have been researching something for a friend. I can't find much out about this but I figured that you would be able to. Hell, you might have even been around to witness it even." Reno started to ramble, which caused Auron to look up at his youngest son.
"What have you done now Reno?" His father asked in a serious tone.
"I need to know everything that you or anyone else knows about the Immortal's Project." Reno demanded.
"What?!" Auron shot out of his chair and heat bombarded reno's body.
All of the lightbulbs in the room exploded to leave only darkness and angry heat of two devils.
"What do you want to know about the Immortal's Project for?!" Auron growled.
"So you do know about it?" Reno replied cooly.
"Stop that!! You little fool!! What have you gotten yourself into?!! Do you realise why you can't get information on that? It is because the information no longer exists. They distroyed it all. No one was supposed to know about this. Not anymore." As he spoke his voice became less angry, almost worried. "Reno what have you done?"
"I told you, it is for a friend." Reno replied, trying to make his voice as careless as possible, that was not easy for him to do.
Reno felt an ache in his head as his father tried to invade his thought for more information but Reno threw up guards and pushed him out.
"You were never one for sharing were you?" His father replied.
Reno remained silent. He was tired of playing games and every second he was spending tlking to his father could be a second that Xavier and his little crew could spend attacking Bella.
"Do you know or not?" Reno asked.
"I know, to much. That is dangerous. The real question si why should I tell you and put you deeper into trouble. Poking around the Immortals Project isn't taken lightly Son. You put your life in danger for a friend. I hope they are worth it." There was a sliding sound of a drawer opening.
Reno didn't move but a small ball of fire apperared and began to float around his head. His father was rumaging through his desk and finally came out with a file. He plopped it on his desk and then leaned back in his chair.
"The Immortal's Project was an unspeakable atrocity for both the human and the demon world. That is what once it was discovered the information and eveything that had to do with it was destroyed. Dr. Vexan disappeared. We don't know what happened to him baut all of his experiments were tracked down and done away with. Well al except one. She was never found and was assumed to have died when the Doctor's lab exploded. Though, I would have liked to see proof." He said to his son as he approach the desk and take the file."I was supposed to destroy this but didn't have the heart to. You can have it but if you are caught with it you didn't get this from me."
Reno flipped through a few pages quickly and smiled. This was exactly what they needed.
"Thanks dad." He said as he went to the window to depart.
"Tell me Reno, is that Bella girl as amazing as her file suggests?" Auron said as Reon was about to jump.
Slowly the red headed teen turned to his father's knowning eyes. Auron wore a look of concern on his face rather then smugness, as it usually would.
"How did you?" Reno began.
"She was the only one that wasn't accounted for and she would be the only reason that you would want to look into this. So answer my question." His father replied.
"No. I'm sure her file doesn't do her justice. She's not a threat to anyone though. She is stable, she just wants to know why she can't remember anything about ther past." Reno defended.
"I will beleive you on that but you know if anything goes wrong, I have an obligation to to inform someone. She is putting you in danger as well." Auron explained.
Reno simply nodded, feeling defeated and fell out the window to the ground below. His father stared at the empty, dark room for sometime before getting up and looking to see if his last born was acctually gone.
"I guess we will see how powerful yet harmless she is." He tured and left his office.

It's a interesting start, but I though you where going for a barbaric setting like you and I were bouncing idea with. I was a little thrown off at first, because I didn't know you put it into a modern/future setting. (unless I'm reading the wrong story)

The only other thing I would say, maybe pick another name then Bella and Reno. since you know, Bella is all big in twilight. and Reno, well that just get me thing of Naivete(sp?)
