Kako sat on the bottom step of the stairs of her house and starred at the wall. She sighed. This is it.. I'll go to school then come home.. and leave again.. Maybe i could find another family to take me in.. She silently got up and looked at the calendar. "Tomorrows my birthday.." She felt tears welling up in her eyes but she forced them back. She turned to the door and started out for school.

Kako slowly walked up the steps into teh school. Keeping her head down she turned down the main hallway. "Like, no way." "yea! im throwing a big party when my parents go out this weekend. " "Kako are you coming?" A girl raced up to her. One of the many preps in teh school. "No.. i ..i cant sorry" The girl frowned "COme on Kako screw the parents its gonna be huge! Shiros coming" She said the last part in a taunting voice. Kako glared and her eyes grew darker. "Shiro is already my friend Thank You! Plus.. im leaving tonight.. i dont think i'll be coming back.." SHe took a step away as the girl reached for her arm. "Leaving! your parents are jus forcing you to move on such a short notice! Thats cruel.!" She yelled. Another girl over heard. She had brilliant emrald eyes long black hair. A Perfect figure and a beautiful smile. A smile her brother had fallen for. But now all she had was worry in her eyes. "Leaving!" She looked at kako. "Why didnt your brother tell me!! he didnt say.." Kako cut her off. "He's gone no one knows where he is." The girls eyes quickly grew in shock. "He isn't the type of person to.." "I know.." Kako said quietly "Thats why we are all suprised.." SHe turned and quickly walked down the hall and turned into the next hallway.

Kako silently slipped into her seat in homeroom. Shiro glanced over at her. Silently he slipped a note onto er desk. She quickly coverd it with her hand as the teacher passed. She lanced worridly at him. Then she opend the note and read it.
Hey, Your bro didnt show at soccer practice or at the gym yesterday is he sick? Kako scribbled a quick 'idk' on the paper and passed it back. As he read it he gave her a questioning glance but put it away.

.:End of school:.
Kako pushed her way out of the crowd around one of the sports players and made her way out of the school. "Kay!!" someone yelled grabbing her arm. She lookd up to see shiro. "What?" she asked as politely as she could. "Do you want to come to the party with me? I could get yo uhome befor.." Kako shook her head n moved her arm away. "Sorry shiro im not going." Her eyes went soft as she starred at him. "ok.. he said a little disapointed.. bye.." he said not realising how correct at his not seeing her again was. She hugged him quickly and mumbled something about missing him. Then she let go. She ran a couple streets down.

Kako finaly reached her house and pushed open the door. She dropped her shoulder bag and started to pull out her school books, and stuffed in the things she would need. She looked around at the house. "good bye.." she said softly before stepping out the door and heading to the train station.

Kako stepped inside the train and sat in her seat. She looked across at a boy with his hat low so you couldnt see his eyes. She could see he had black hair and he was rather tanned. He wore a baggy jersey and baggy cut offs. "hi." she said shortly. Then she realized he was sleeping. When it was her stop he jerked awake and looked around stood up and opened the door. Kako followed him off the train then turned away. "Tokiyo.." She said softly amazed by how big it was. "Quite big.. isn't it. My home town was back a ways. " He smiled looking down at her. "Where u from?" he asked politly. "Oh.. no where. " she said quickly. He smiled "Where you staying?" he asked. "No where i wont be here long.." she replied looking down. "Why dont you stay with us.." he smiled again taking her hand and leading her down the street.
