The Thief Club
Decision made part 3
*9:58 PM, June 7*

Scythe breathed hard. She had been careless. Oops. It was an accident; a stupid accident. She However, because of that stupid accident she had overheard some very useful information. Of course if she was caught and killed it wouldn't do anyone any good so she had to absolutely make sure she didn't get caught. She had promised Blade, after all, that she wouldn't. That being said she had to lose the mini-army of guards chasing her. There were way too many to take at once. If she couldn't get away.....well she chose not to dwell on that. Where in the world was she supposed to meet up with Blade and B? She felt stupid for not clarifying that detail. Also she swore she'd been around the whole flip'in dip'in place and didn't see anyone. Well actually she'd seen a lot of people. Bad people. No one she wanted to see. It would really suck if she died without even being able to tell Blade what she needed to know. She had found out where Mike was. And where the diamond was. And where all the protection was. She wouldn't forget either. They were all in the same place. Scythe was definitely going to ask what special diamond this was.
"Scythe! Over here!" B's voice yelled. Scythe turned her head to see B and Blade standing on the lower limbs of a tree on the outside of the gate, which was closed shut, beckoning to her.{ That's just great. How the hell am I supposed to get over that gate again?} She glanced over her shoulder to see the mini army running after her and shouting like idiots. Well, they were idiots, so it makes sense they sounded like them. Scythe smiled. { Idea! }

" Umm...Blade, how is Scythe going to jump that thing again? She barely made it last time when she jumped off of me and you," B said worriedly.
"Well, she better figure it out. It's her fault for not listening to the rest of what I was going to say. If she had she wouldn't have had to run around while we were giving our kind hosts gifts." Blade said stiffly. Then her eyes widened and she laughed. "Look, there's you're answer." she said pointing. Scythe had rounded the corner of a smaller house, waited for the mini-army of guards to run up to it, and stuck her scythe out to trip whoever was first. The guard tripped and the domino effect Scythe was hoping for happened. All the guards went down pathetically and Blade and B enjoyed watching Scythe use their faces and heads as a step ladder almost as much as Scythe enjoyed actually doing it. Scythe managed to grab hold of the edge of the roof and hoisted herself up. Then running along the roof of that building and jumping onto the next she got close enough and high enough to jump the gate. She landed on her knees and before turning and making her great escape she stuck her tongue out at the guards who were scrambling to unlock the lock and open the gate. Blade and B already waiting ahead where it was safe, for her, and she caught up to them and demanded to know what was going on. Her answer came in the form of a big boom. Several of them actually. She turned to see smoke coming from different sections of the complex.
"Boom." B whispered in a way that gave her two companions the creeps.
"What did you guys do? " Scythe asked.
"Just what she said," Blade answered. "We gave our hosts a little.... gift. I hope they enjoy it as much as we enjoyed ours earlier." Blade said, her face saying 'sweet revenge'.
"So this is why I was chosen to run around like a rat? You could have told me!" Scythe exclaimed.
"Well, it was you who took off before I could get another word in. If you had stayed and waited for my full instructions, you would have known to meet us out of the gate." Blade shrugged.
"I could have very well been killed!" Scythe argued.
"Well it's a good thing you weren't. Besides you looked like you were having fun, stepping on people, sticking you're tongue out at them, jumping around. Fun, right?" Blade replied.
"Yeah, fun. Sorry if that wasn't the word I was thinking of." Scythe said, a little grumpily. B, who had been laughing a quiet, creepy, laugh suddenly stopped.
"Oh, yeah. What about the runts?" she said.
"....."
"........" They all stared at each other. Blade looked at her watch. It was past eleven. They had taken a longer time then she expected. "We should get back." she said.
"...Yeah" Scythe and B agreed.
