Got bored on History class, so I wrote a poem explaining two of my OCs.
heart --------------------------------------------------------------------- heart
We start with a heart, Pure, innocent, and scar-less. Oh so flawless and full, It's a wonder it made it this far.
Sure enough, the innocent and pure heart was broken, Cracked with a swift and single blow. And this way it hardened, Ink black with a single scar.
Even so, the heart was not yet beyond repair, Simply broken and pained for now. But the one person that could fix it, Had a heart more broken than it was.
Still, the two hearts met, Colliding violently at first, But slowly and surely, They came together as one.
They made up for each other, Filling in the cracks. Though still onyx black, No scars remain.
heart -------------------------------------------------------------------- heart
It's kind of like the whole soul mate thing, but with hearts rather than souls, but how much of a difference is there between the two (I mean symbolically, if you're thinking about being a smart a**...)
