Today I met the most racist group of people I have ever met in my entire life. Unfortunately, they are (some of them) people I knew which makes it that much worse. Maybe its my own fault for trying to think that kind of thing didn't exist anymore. Maybe it's my own fault for being me. Maybe it's my own fault for not being used to it or "taking it too personally". Right?! Yeah, that must be it.
Anyway, I must say it was quite refreshing though. I've never felt that kind of discomfort with anyone or myself before. Amazing! Well, I'll get over that feeling soon enough. I'll just have to think twice or three times before I'll want to move out of the city. The bad thing is that I just may forget by the time the idea to move does comes up. lol. I'll have a bad feeling and I wont know why. I guess I'm writing this to help remember. And for anyone who might want to read it.
