Ok so as u may know I went to the State competiton for History Day Friday after school and got back around 11:30 Saturday night. It's a fourn and a half hour drive. Then I got Taco Bell! Whooo Fourth Meal!!! Anyway, I lost my process papers (the Judges stole them; I discovered it during open viewing) and the computer didin't have a signal, so I had to go to the library to access my school account so I could reprint everything. I got lost on my way there, then when I finally found the library, it turned out to be closed! Did I mention I was doing all this running around in a dress and really uncomfortable heels???? Then, I had to go to the judges lounge. I got lost on my way there (I even had a map this time) and then I spent a stressful ten minutes sitting on the floor waiting for them to find my papers. They found two of my three. I had to run errands for my teacher, who was in a wheelchair, but it wasn't that bad. During the awards, we were sitting on these bleachers that had huge gaps in them. I wondered waht it would be like if someone fell. We were up pretty high. I told my friend "What would happen if I dropped my punch?" (I had a bottle of punch)hahahah punch!!!! Well, I accidentally dropped my punch. I watched it fall down, then went nuts. I laughed so hard about the punch. lol IT WAS THE PUNCH!!!!! Then, we passed a "get well" rock around with a Sharpie for my teacher. I said "Waht would happen if we dropped the rock?" KThen I laughed so hard and told everyone "Drop the rock!!" It was so fun! I didn't make it to nationals, but then again I didn't want to. That day was so stressful, I didn't want to have to go through with it on the other side of the country! Ahh, but I have so many inside jokes now and the bus ride back was so fun! Talking to Sam about New Zealand was great. They have no grades, TV's in the buses, 40 sheep and 400 possi for every one person, and dinner has nothing to do with tea, it's called tea time because dinner is actually called tea over there! Isn't that great? Anyway, I had SO much fun.
