Extraordinary Abilities

-Spirit/Tattoo Channeling-
Cole channels his spirit energy, or Ki, into his tattoo's resulting in the resulting effects. A psion inscribed his tattoo's, thus explaining their capabilities. His spirit level is recorded in a standard 100% capacity status bar. If he drops to 0% he loses consciousness. Energy can continue to be charged even at 100% in a separate bar, if he divulges his full concentration to the task.

After spending three days in intensive Ki training, Cole has reduced the cost of all his attacks by anywhere from 5%-50%. Each attack is now slightly stronger. Most notably, he can now withhold up to 150% Ki capacity for extended periods of time, basically in practical effect this means he starts each battle at 150% energy instead of the typical 100%.


Supernatural Abilities

-Spirit conduction-
Cole's body is capable of housing and controlling two spirits at a single time[as long as one remains his own], thus allowing him to maintain control of the chaos spirits contained within his staff. This ability can also be used to save the soul of a recently departed individual. Through the use of both palm tattoo's Cole may draw the spirit from a corpse before it has a chance to escape into whichever lands it belongs to. If the spirit has godly[or ungodly] power, or is exponentially stronger than Cole, he may be overrode and commanded, his body stolen. The spirit can be held within his body up to 24 hours, at which if a suitable container has not been attained, the sould departs this world and enters the next. Once a suitable container has been found, which could range from an enchanted object to a live or recently dead insect to a recently deceased human.

Equipment Abilities

-Mind Trap-
Sown into the hood of his overcoat, is a rare wire which blocks his mind from the prying eyes of those with physic capabilities. If his mind is attempted to be read, all that can be detected, thanks to the wire, is a loud hum which if listened to over long periods of time can drive the psychic insane. Conversely, when wearing the hood, Cole would not be able to read the minds of others. Thanks to the eye of mentality, he is able to bypass his own defenses without leaving behind a hole for enemies to find their way through.

-Chaos Staff-
His primary weapon. The staff contains the opposing spirits of fire and water, thus is in a constant state of chaotic equilibrium. By withdrawing one spirit into his body from the staff, the remaining spirit is allowed room to expand, resulting in attacks of the residing element. The spirit absorbed into his body generates D-10 energy, coinciding to it's element. Thus capable of using the spirit for battle.



Moveset

-Eye of Mentality-
Upon his forehead lies an eye. This tattoo is in constant effect, allows him the ability to read the thoughts of weak willed individuals. Those in his vicinity can guard their minds from his own by constructing some kind of mental defense, anywhere from a brick wall, to slamming a door. This tattoo is unaffected by his mind-trap wire. Focus can be shifted from reading thoughts to charging energy, at which the eye closes. Each turn results in an additional D-10 energy.

-Coils of Motion-
Upon his ankles and wrists are coils of black that twist thrice, his right side counter-clockwise, his left clockwise. Once activated they glow and spin. His limbs receive a massive boost in speed and strength. Arm movements become blurs, one step can carry him up to 5 feet. Activation occupies 10% spirit, maintenance 2%.

-Quassi-Corporeal Vortex-
Upon his chest is a tightly wound spiral. Once activated it spins clockwise, first slowly, then with rapidly increasing speed. If stared into one can easily become hypnotized. Yet this is not it's primary function. As it spins, Cole becomes gradually less corporeal. Once he reaches a desirable state, he can will the spiral to spin at a constant speed. To revert back to solid form, the tattoo spins counter-clockwise. At which he begins taking a less incorporeal form. His incorporeality has three levels.

Level 1: Steady spin. His most useful form, solid objects, such as weapons, pass through his body. His hands can maintain a solid grip on things still in the physical world. Activation uses 15% energy. Maintenance 3%.

Level 2: Fast spin. At this point, his equipment begins to shift from fully solid, to spiritual. Thus as attacks go through him, so do his. At this stage, he can only harm spirits, only spirits can harm him. Spiritual powers can still harm his form. Activation uses 25% energy. Maintenance 5%.

Level 3: Rapid spin. At this point, even the powers of the mortal spirit can do no harm. He no longer inhabits a solid form, rather a silvery mist or essence where he should be. The only clear features noticeable are his tattoos as they glow with a fierce intensity. In this form Cole can travel immense distances in little time. If he invests the majority of his spirit energy into the task, he can take others with him in this form of teleportation. Activation uses 35% energy. Maintenance 10%. Teleportation 10%. Side-along teleportation 15% per addition.

Inversely, while in full corporeal form, Cole can spin the tattoo counter-clockwise to increase his density.

-Heart of Life-
Upon the left palm is the tattoo of a heart, the image, not the organ. When planted upon an injury, over time he can heal a wound. Depending upon the severity the time and energy required adjusts. Energy absorbed with the skull of death is utilized with the following equation; X=Energy used Y=energy healed: X=2Y. Energy from personal supply; X=Spirit output Y=energy healed: 2X=Y

-Skull of Death-
Upon the right palm is the tattoo of a skull. Converse to his left palm which grants life, this tattoo takes lifeforce. The two tattoos can be used in strategic conjunction. Energy taken with this palm can be transferred and used with the other palm. If mass amounts of energy are invested, the energy taken can easily amount to the total lifeforce of an individual, resulting in death. X=spirit output Y=energy absorbed 1.25X=Y. 50% divulged results in 75% absorbed. If the opponent utilizes status bar for energy, energy absorbed is withdrawn from status. If status bar is not used, characters energy, will, and moral are weakened. If more than 25% energy is used by Cole in battle for this technique in one pulse, he becomes fatigued at a quick rate. Cole rarely resorts to this tactic unless a win is nearly attainable, or a willing subject forfeits their energy to heal another.

-Shift of Shield-
Upon his left shoulder is the tattoo of a shield. When activated the black seeps down his arm, enveloping it, leaving the coil of motion as a white band. From the ink a structure is projected. It appears at first as a thin spike/rail which runs from shoulder to wrist, once it reaches two inches in height it broadens outwards and produces a 'shield'. Attacks that are blocked with the shield are sapped of energy, allowing his arm to stand strong even in the event of a blow from a heavy-duty axe or hammer. This sapped energy is manipulated and turned against the blow. Thus a heavier knock-back occurs the stronger the oncoming attack. Activation requires 25%. If activated simultaneously with the shift of sword, cost is reduced to 15%. Maintenance alone occupies 5%, maintenance with counterpart is reduced to 2.5%.

-Shift of Sword-
Upon the right shoulder is the tattoo of a sword. When activated the ink seeps down his arm, enveloping it, leaving the coil of motion as a white band. His arm then begins to thin at a rapid rate, resulting in a razor-sharp blade which can be bent at the shoulder, elbow, and wrist. Activation requires 25%. If activated simultaneously with the shift of shield, cost is reduced to 15%. Maintenance alone occupies 5%, maintenance with counterpart is reduced to 2.5%.

-Feathers of Flight-
Upon his shoulder-blades are twin black feathers, one for each blade. When activated the ink projects outwards and forms a set of black wings similar to that of a raven. They are fully functional and capable of heavy-blows as well as flight. Activation requires 10% spirit, maintenance none, duration until dismissed.

-Shift of Spider-
Upon his navel is the tattoo of a black spider. When activated the ink envelops his entire form, he then begins a rapid state of shift and shrink. Once completed he appears as an ordinary black spider, the size of a full grown widow, with white tattoos. Upon it's belly is the white form of a man. Activation requires 40% spirit, maintenance none, lasts until re-activated at which he returns to his normal size and form.

-Shift of Doom-
An unsightly splotch of black rests between his shoulder-blades. When activated the ink envelops his body, spreading outwards with a watery quality. His skin takes up a shimmering, slimy, quality. His face becomes featureless, a black blob of sickening ink, despite the glowing white remnant of his third eye. In this form, tentacle projections can be emitted from anywhere on his person. They can extend up to ten feet, bend, shift, and file themselves instantly into razor-sharp edges. Limbs can extend to 75 feet. Activation requires 15% energy, tentacle projection 1% each, duration until dismissed.

-Rings of Energy Conduction-
On the backs of his hands and the tops of his feet are thick rings. Ki can be channeled into the tattoo's to activate their effects. Each ring containing it's own ability.

-Left hand/Ki Wave- By generating Ki in this ring of power, the potential of a widespread strike of energy arises. By gripping his hand into a fist, baring the tattoo, a shockwave of amplified Ki projects outwards. By increasing energy output, the attack can be augmented, increasing in size and power. Standard wave 5% Ki, augmentable up to 25%.

-Right hand/Ki Blast- By focusing Ki into this ring of power, the potential of a tagreted strike of energy arises. By extending the first two fingers, amplified Ki flows from the tattoo into the tips. This energy can be fired as a ray at a distance up to 30 yards, or released as a sphere up to five feet, the closer the impact the greater the damage. Ray or Sphere 10% Ki, augmentable up to 40%.

-Right foot/Ki Leap- By generating Ki into the tattoo upon his right foot Cole can leap from any surface, including air itself, with astounding speed. Ki Leap 5% Energy upon activation, maintenance none, each Leap after activation 1%.

-Left foot/Ki Step- By focusing Ki into the ring upon the left foot Cole can walk upon nonsolid surfaces such as water, and spiders-web without sinking or breaking through. Using the technique upon solid surfaces grants him ability to walk up walls and ceilings. Ki Step 5% Energy upon activation, maintenance 1%.
Can be activated in tandem with other foot for 3% each, 6% total.

-Cole Cannon-
By facing each open palm to the other and manifesting mass amounts of Ki into the Rings of Conduction, a sphere of intensely destructive capabilities forms. Once the energy bomb attains it's full size it appears as a phosphorescent basketball of rapidly swirling gray matter. This attack can be fired up to a distance of five miles, Once it reaches it's designated destination the sphere explodes in thousands of shards of energy, each ending in an incendiary finish. Has the potential to level a city. Takes 5 turns to generate, uses 190% energy. This attack is Cole's most devastating technique.

-Ki Bomb-
A miniature version of his signature Ki Cannon, generated in much the same way, with similar effects reduced to scale. Takes only one turn to generate, thus can be effectively used in battle. Requires 35% energy.

-Blows from the staff result in an incendiary explosion of moderate size.

-Spinning the staff results in a tornado of fire erupting outwards, with a variance in size relating to the speed of the spin.

-Pointing, and then jabbing the end of the staff results in a brief fireball.

-Blows from the staff result in a watery explosion of moderate size.

-Spinning the staff results in a typhoon of water erupting outwards, with a variance in size/amount relating to the speed of the spin.

-Pointing, and then jabbing the end of the staff results in a brief waterball.

-Chaos Spirit:Fire/Body-
-Immunity to fire-based attacks.

-Flare aura. Charging energy results in a flaring essence around his form, if he touches an individual they are burned from the heat.

-Is unaffected by staff's watery explosions.
