My day is in anticipation of you
To see your name appear on the screen
Makes me smile brighter than the monitor
Feeling that electricity bolt of adrenaline coursing through my veins
As we circle through the events of the day
Our conversations programmed to repeat every night
Sharing those inconsequential moments
My heart beats like my modem dialling
I've never heard your voice or touched your breathing skin
But inside my attention-seeking body
My mind writes a thousand word processor poems
