Note: I have two poems called 'Falling', but they are in no way related. The first one is the one I created first and the second the one I created last.
Cast out into the shadows
An empty, black void surrounds me
Small drops of rain from the crying clouds above
Gently caress my face
As tears fall from my eyes
The wind howls and blows hard
Wearing me down to the bone
I'm falling apart
And all alone
Will no one catch me as I fall?
