"Go on...i dare you."
Everyone freezes, their eyes lock onto you. Your heartbeat quickens, your mind screaming for you to say no.
You've just been asked to enter the haunted house, where people claim they have seen ghosts and heard of murders.
And that once you come in...
You never get out.
The boy who dared you crosses his arms, obviously waiting for an answer. You swallow your fears and say, "Okay fine...i'll do it."
Everyone gasps, and the boy who asked you widens his eyes for a moment then says, but more quieter, "You know it's for six weeks right? You can't take one step outside, not even open that door or escape out a window."
"I know," you attempt to say smoothly, but comes out shaky. The kids step aside and you walk toward the house and enter. the place is dark and full of dust. the door shuts behind you so fast that you jump a foot in the air. for a moment you think, "This isn't so bad. i can do this!" when suddenly a vase is lifted in midair and chucked at you. You stand frozen and at the last second dodge it. The vase crashes into the wall behind you and suddenly you hear laughter and a girl suddenly appears, glowing red.
"Oh poo, i missed." she giggles and then suddenly her eyes glow a brighter red and the table the vase had been resting on is lifted up.
"Die mortal!" the girl hisses and throws the table at you. You're so scared your feet are glued to the floor. the table comes flying toward you when suddenly another figure appears in front of you, glowing blue, and deflects the table.
"Run! get out of here before it's too late!" the figure turns around and yells at you. you blink rapidly, turn, and run toward the door. you pull on the handle and twist it this way and that but no budge. you run to the windows but they're all sealed shut. Everything that is considered an exit is blocked off and the windows won't break. So instead you run into the bathroom and shut the door, shaking.
It is then you realize that you are not alone, other mortals are here too, hiding in the same bathroom or in other rooms. they have also been dared to come, ironically, for six weeks too.
Thats when it hits you...
No one will come to save you until six weeks are past.
Now you are locked in a haunted house for six weeks with ghosts who are out to kill you...
Will you survive?
