Inside the world of an opinionated artist.
With Obama being honored at Notre Dame University, I have one thing to say...and that is: Christians Get your act together for ******** sake. Why the ******** do you care if he speaks at Notre Dame? Why have a bloody fit about it? Is it because he's for stem cell research and abortion? Oh ******** no. We actually get a president that actually gives two shits about what happens to the people in this country instead of ignoring them like Bush did. Wow. Just ******** wow.

But here are a few things I don't get. Why cause all of this s**t, just because he wants to find a way to get rid of the diseases that have been killing off our loved ones either at a very young age or at a very old age. Do you love to hear about someone die? Then why all this crap that stem cell research is killing "babies" and I use that term very loosely. I wonder which scenario sounds better. If you're so admant about being against stem cell research then why not get your a** on a plane to the Amazon and protest the deforestation of the Amazon Rainforest, while running away from crazy people with chainsaws and machetes and from giant anacondas that wouldn't mind eating you for lunch. I wonder, which sounds better? Cultivating cells from an embroyo or getting eaten by a giant anaconda.

Another issue I have is how Christians are treating women who decide to get an abortion. I myself am pro-choice, not pro-abortion. I think that the choice is up to the woman itself not up to you overzealous pro-life wing nuts. Seriously. Ever hear of a little thing called privacy? I mean for ******** sake, you like to demonize these women who have obviously thought a lot on a decision. I mean seriously, do you think Jesus or God for that matter would condone your actions. If you honestly think yes, then you need to a) look up what Agape is again and b) b***h slap yourself a few times. I mean seriously. And I will quote a good friend of mine.

My complaints about mainstream/non-mystical Christianity was how hypocritical believers are, the denying of objective reality in favor of a book that should be a guide not a ******** code or excuse for prejudice and denying objective reality, the resistance to witchcraft(Tea has helped me make peace with that by her pointing out that magic is not prohibited in OT, and thus Christianity as a whole), when you know deep down that the things done in the name of your faith is not within agape and constantly be told that it is contrary to objective reality, and everyone treating it as a burden than something that should free you from worry, and the insistence that "the end it coming" when many scholars have proven that those writings have nothing to do with prophecy, oh and that we are completely powerless and should do what our pastors/leaders say is right because we are so tainted by Original Sin or in the protestant extreme of total depravity(the idea how we are so corrupted by original sin that we cannot be saved unless there is some form of Divine Intervention *gag*). -rmcdra, a Gnostic

All we ask of you is to, take a look at the Law of Agape and really ask if your lord and truly condones your ******** up acts and to pull your head out of your a**. In other words, get your act together or shut the ******** up.

    Amen Sister Rai.

For a Pagan, you speak with the Holy Spirit razz .

As to the abortion issue. I personally do not agree with it and feel it violates agape but I will not deny it being part of medical practice though. Let me explain why I view it this way.
Unfortunately with the way we are about kids that aren't our own, with the overcrowding of orphanages, and disrespect toward women through poor support during her pregnancy by way of poor medical care, financial support, and community support, that abortion is one of those rock and a hard places we must live with until we ourselves as a collective are willing to change and make a difference. So thus we should not eliminate abortion unless everyone in our country can make a stand and say I will take care of that child for you so you do not have to have an abortion. I know personally I'm not ready to make a stand like that so please do not think I am attacking. Until we can do that abortion should stay.
So yeah overall I'm against abortion but I will not judge someone if they have to make that choice because I am aware that it is one of the necessary evils that limits suffering.

As for stem cell research for ******** sake, the child had to suffer why degrade their death by throwing them in the trash or furnace? I see it as the equivalent of organ donations after you die. If the ex-parent wants to donate their deceased child to be used for stem cell research, I don't see the issue unless they had their child aborted explicitly for that purpose and if they did that's a pretty ******** up person to begin with. And also stem cell research will not encourage abortions, that is so ludicrous. There's a thing called ethical standards that researchers have to agree to or they could lose funding or licensing. Paying women to have a baby for the sake of performing an abortion is a pretty clear ******** sign of violating ethical standards.

Anyway that's my rant. Later Rai
