Bound To Earth


Wings? Well, flying would be nice.
So I can soar through the clouds
and touch the sky.
But I am bound to Earth,
to watch and wait until someday
I may be free.

Will someone not save me
from this stone?
Will someone not unbind me,
unchain me, and unfold
the mystery behind me and this stone?

I cannot cry out
my voice has left,
my soul has fled...

Will someone not save me
from this place before
I fade away?
