Just some little stories I came up with
If you are reading this, then you are about to enter my little mind of stories. x33 Please don't insult my stories, these are just little ideas and things I made when I was bored, and it's not like I forced you to come here. I made a myth and a sad love story, feel free to read and comment (give me suggestions on how I can improve and what you liked about them, no insults. Thank you)

Myth:
A long, long time ago, there was a little village where many people lived. Hills and mountains surrounded the village, and a long, flowing river was beside it, that the people used for water. There was a beautiful cave on the tallest mountain, where a giant, venerable dragon stayed. Most of the families were rich or average wage people. The village almost never went though war.

Even so, several people in the village were rude and abominable to others. A test of the village people’s true character changed the village culture forever.

One day in the village the essential river dried up, and the people could not have water. One rich man decided he would travel to see the great dragon, hoping it could monopolize water and bring it back to the river. Along the way, he saw a starving dog. She was extremely thin from lack of food, and she could barely walk. Even though the rich man had plenty of food, he ignored it and went on its way. After climbing the gigantic mountain, he reached the cave.

Then he entered the cave where he saw the enormous, mighty dragon. “The river has dried up, and nobody in our village has water. We need to get our water back.” He demanded. The dragon had magical powers, so it could create or destroy anything. The dragon felt indignant. “I shall not grant thou wish, for you have been a cruel man. Leave my cave, and do not return.”

The next day, another wealthy man decided to go to the cave. As he walked, he saw an old man struggling because he lost his cane. The old man was trying to get to the next village, which would have only taken him a day or two. But without his cane, he walked much slower.

He wanted to ask for help, but the rich man ignored him and continued on his way. Once he reached the cave, he saw the dragon. “Lord, the village is completely out of water and we desperately need to get water some way. Our river had dried up. You must help us.” The dragon looked at him for a moment, and then replied the same thing he did the other day before. “I shall not grant thou wish, for you have been a cruel man. Leave my cave, and do not return.”
The next day, a desolate and poor man was going on a walk trying to find some food. The old man was walking by him, not much farther then where he was walking the day before. He noticed the old man was in need of help. He gave the old man a hand-made cane he had kept.

The old man thanked him, and accepted the cane.

As the poor man continued on his walk, he noticed the dog, hardly able to move now, and he surely knew she was dying. “The poor dog looks famished!” He said in shock. He quickly reached into his pack and pulled out the small amount of bread he was saving. He gave it to the starving dog. She ate it up quickly and got her strength back. The dog happily barked at him. The poor man was glad she was alright. He then continued his way, when he passed near the cave.

He saw the dragon within it. He entered the cave, remembering about the dried up river. Before he could say anything, the dragon spoke.

“You are a villager, aren’t you? The rich ones tell me that your river was dried up and you need help. However, the rich men did not help those in need, so thou shall not be helped as well. No matter how needy they may be.” He paused for a moment, and then continued. “But you care about others as you do yourself, so I shall grant your village’s wish. But I cannot bring the water back to the dry river. Instead, I’ll send water from the skies.” The poor man gratefully bowed his head. “Thank you, mighty Lord.” He said.

Very soon after, as the dragon had said, water fell down from the sky in drops. The people of the village were both amazed and pleased. Some of the drops went into the river, and started to bring it back again. Many people tried to get some of the water that flowed once it hit the ground.

From that magical day on, it rained everywhere on Earth when plants needed water, or when rivers dried up. They all said that the vast dragon himself had given them the wonderful gift of rain… But it was really the poor man’s heart that brought rain to the little village.
