The Cure goes Wrong.... Chp. 2
This story will make MUCH more sense if your read the first one biggrin

Agarn, pinned down, nothing to protect him, with a group of hundreds of undead all around him, thought it was the end. Then, there was a roar, and a blast of hot wind. He opened his eyes to see the zombies all catching fire and burning! He was entranced by the flames leaping from zombie to zombie. The sickly smell of burning flesh shook him out of the trance. He got up, and ran as fast as he could. He jumped from rubble chunk to rubble chunk. He turned around, and saw his savior amidst the burning bodies of zombies.
"Thank you so much!" Agarn said, as he ran up to the man.
"Don't mention it." The young man, only twenty years old, said.
"What's your name?" Agarn asked.
"Crai." The he said.
"Oh! Im Agarn." Agarn extended his hand. Crai shook his hand.
"We should be getting down there. We just stopped the zombies. They're going to need people to guard the entrances." Crai said.
"All right." Agarn and Crai walked through the maze of burning zombies. They jumped off the rubble pile, and took orders from a man who was at the destroyed gate. They were to cover the men repairing the preliminaries. They walked down towards the preliminaries. Crai had his flamethrower at ready. The men had just started to bring supplies from the outpost to begin fixing the preliminaries.
There was a slight shudder in the ground. "What the heck?" Crai said.
Everyone stopped working. The shuddering was repititive, like footsteps. They got closer and closer, louder and louder. Then, a man appeared, a block away from the preliminaries. "RUN! GET OUT OF HERE!" The man screamed. Then, there was a roar. Down the street, a twenty foot tall human shaped thing emerged from a street. It chased the man down the street, grabbed him and devoured him in two bites.
"HOLY SH**!" WHAT THE **** IS THAT?" Agarn shouted.
"I dont know, but it isnt friendly!" Crai shouted.
Everyone ran away from the beast. They headed towards the outpost.
"Get everyone out! EVERYONE" Agarn shouted.
The man giving orders saw the beast. He started screaming orders. "Everyone out of the outpost, ASAP! There is a twenty foot tall zombie....thing headed towards us!"
There was an alarm screaming, people were gathering their things and running towards the gates on the opposite side.
"There is an outpost on the other side of the city! We can get there by morning!" A soldier began announcing that through a megaphone.
People were panicking. Agarn ran towards a dead body from the earlier attack. He cleaned the body of a .389 revolver and a heavy duty assualt machine gun. He looked for ammo and found a few hundred rounds for the machine gun, and about three hundred for the revolver. He loaded the 12 round capacity revolver, and put a clip into the machine gun. He kept running. Everyone was flowing towards the exits, pushing and shoving to get away. As Crai and Agarn reached the crowd, the beast smashed through. They finally got a good look at it. They regretted it instantly. The creature's face was half teeth, rest tendons, and two large black eyeballs. His body was covered in spikes, and he had almost a half foot long claws. The thing had huge feet. It's arms were almost three fourths as long as its body. The thing was a hideous mess of ligaments, muscle, and red skin. It looked around, its eyes adjusting to the light. It saw its prey. It slowly advanced.
The mob of people were almost through. The only people left were a woman, a child, and Crai and Agarn. At that moment, the beast picked up speed. It sped across the massive park, knocking over supply tents, tents, trees, and buildings.
Adrenaline pumped through Agarn and Crai's bodies. They shoved the woman and child through, and faced the thing. Agarn sprayed bullets at it, and ran. Crai dodged a sweep of its claws, and set its arm on fire. The beast roared in annoyance. It bashed its hand onto the ground until the fire went out. It felt a sharp pain on its back. Crai had sprayed fire all over its back. The beast gave an ear piercing roar of pain. It tried to claw at its back, only to catch its hand on fire. The thing rolled around, roaring in anger and pain. The fire slowly died. Agarn took aim, and prepared to shoot it in the eye. Then, it's claw swept towards him. He jumped backwards, narrowly missing the deadly claws. He fell over, and then felt warmth running down his leg. A tip of a claw had ripped into his thigh. He couldn't get up, but the beast could. As it got up, it hit Crai with a backswing of its hand. He flew through the air, and hit the ground. He rolled for yards and passed out. The last thing he saw, was the beast getting up to attack Agarn.
Agarn was on the ground, his thigh gushing blood. The beast slowly rose and looked at its prey. It slowly moved its hand down, prolonging Agarn's pain. In a rush of adrenaline, Agarn rolled, and tried to get up. He stumbled, but managed to make himself do a loping run. He saw a soldier in a Lieutenant's uniform with an rpg. Agarn threw himself to the ground as the Lieutenant fired the missle. It hit the beast directly in the chest. With the adrenaline, fear, and pain coursing through Agarn's body, he saw it in slow motion. The thing took the missle, and chunks of flesh and blood flew into the air. It's arms flew backwards, and it hit the ground. The earth shook, and you could almost feel the sudden peace in the world.
The Lieutenant walked over to Agarn. "Hmmm... I was ordered to only use those in an emergency. I think that counts."
"Thanks..." Agarn managed to grunt. He heard a deep and heavy breathing. It sounded painful, like it hurt to breath. He turned and looked at the beast. "You mean, that didn't kill it?" Agarn asked fearfully.
"I guess not. Well, it will take awhile for the nutrients from its last meal to repair its flesh. We should get moving. First though, we have to get you and your friend to some medical attention." He waved a doctor over, who had been hiding in a nearby building.
"The rest of the survivors are ahead. Will we be okay? All alone out here, in an abandoned outpost, only us and an unstoppable army of z-"
"That's enough mister positive." The Lieutenant interjected. " Check him over, I'll go get the other guy."
The doctor checked Agarns wound. He took out a few bandages, and wiped a cream on them to kill germs. "There. It should hurt for awhile, but the cream has a pain reliver in it too."
The Lieutenant had returned with Crai. He gently set him down.
Crai's eyes opened "Well, this has been some day..." He muttered ruefully.
The doctor began poking and prodding different bones on his body. "Tell me if it hurts."
As the doctor pushed down on his elbow, Crai shouted in pain.
"Well, you are fit and young. I dont have any x-rays or anything, so I will assume it is a fracture." He pulled out a needle. "This has nano's in it that will locate bones and reattach them. It will hurt, but you will be able to use your arm again tomorrow."
The doctor slowly injected the nanobots into Crai's arm. "Well, can I shoot the flamethrower still?" Crai questioned.
"I wouldnt recommend it, but if it was dire... I guess so." The doctor said.
"Look, I dont know when big and ugly will wake up, but I think we need to get moving. I just comm'd with a few soldiers and they are about three blocks north and two south. They set up a barricade inside an apartment building. Clean of zombies." The Lieutenant said. Comming is a military term for using a mike to pick up sound waves and communicate with others. It also has a holo vid screen.
Agarn and Crai slowly got up. The doctor pulled out a revolver. Agarn picked up his assualt machine gun. They walked towards the rendevous point.
Big and ugly behind them woke up the next morning. He had regained all his flesh, and he was ready to go. Little did his primitive, animal-like brain know, that the Lieutenant was a demolitions expert, and had left a little present in the form of a trip mine. The beast wouldn't be able to walk for a week until it finally got some prey. When it's leg grew back, it found itself being torn apart by missles and plasma cannon fire.

Tell me about any grammar / spelling mistakes. New chapter sometime in the next week.
