Sometimes
It feels like the world left me behind
Everybody else went off
And did their own thing
And I was sitting there
The same person I always was
Unable to change
Wondering if i should have
I look back on my life
And i had friends
I had fun, and I had aspirations
And now, what am I?
Where have I gone to
My poems are second rate
Compared to what they once were
A romantic I long to be once again
And I wish i had faith
But wish i may, Wish I might
I think my star will be extinguished tonight
