There are four Gods / Goddesses (named after the Seasons that they represent), each with three under-gods called 'Messengers' - each Messenger (one per month / lunar cycle) takes the prayers from each of the people born in this particular lunar cycle, and in turn, delivers it to the Seasonal God.

Each season has a certain colour that should be worn at all times. Not necesary to wear all the same colour, but the more of the colour the devote wears, the more good fortune comes their way (should be wearing at least one strip of fabric that is the colour of the season) – Spring is Green, Summer is Blue, Autumn is Yellow, Winter is Red.

Each follower has a pendant forged for them from the church. Small circular pendant, made with a chunk of precious metal that devout must acquire on something akin to a christening. This is a trek starting at the town that founded the Listeners, and traveling to a small shrine deep in the mountains with no food or water - this trek takes two days if one does not get lost... Back at the town, the metal is then formed into a flat sphere with fancy little designs, a mirror attached to the back (maybe black mirror?), and the symbol of their Messenger.

Autumn

October – Blood Moon (Hunter’s Moon) – Messenger Shara (blood sacrifice of self made on the new moon)
November – Frost Moon – Messenger Kartik

Winter
December – Ice Moon – Messenger Margash
January – Wolf Moon – Messenger Paush
February – Storm Moon – Messenger Marma

Spring
March – Chaste Moon – Messenger Holi (no hanky panky in this month. Time of personal reflection and purification!)
April – Seed Moon (or Walking Moon) – Messenger Hanuman (hanky panky is encouraged in this month if one has a mate! If someone is unattached, this is definitely the time to start traveling)
May – Hare’s Moon – Messenger Mina

Summer
June – Honey Moon – Messenger Wats
July – Thunder Moon – Messenger Guru
August – Red Moon – Messenger Naral


Odd-Out Messenger, the 13th Messenger – Death’s messenger. This messenger comes to you when you are about to die...


Afterlife – There is a condition to be allowed into the afterlife... one must have completed their life’s goals before this, or they are doomed to traverse the earth until their task is finished. A family member or a friend can finished the task if it is possible – but it’s a good idea to finish what you started if at all possible.
