Now, I know that lots of people nowadays line their waterlines, I got a picture to help show you guys what exactly the waterline is (the part the eyeliner is on is the waterline).
Now that you can see it for yourself, you should know that the waterline is a VERY sensitive part of the eye, and you should NOT use eyeliner that is not approved for waterline use on it! Note: Don't ever, ever, EVER try to use liquid liner on your waterline!
I personally choose not to line my waterline because I have very dry eyes, so they are extra sensitive. I don't think you need to line your waterline to have pretty eyeliner but I have a great tip for you guys: NEVER wear eyeliner on only the bottom part of your eye. I did this for the entire 7th grade because I was so young and I didn't realize that it makes small eyes look SMALLER.
If you trouble getting eyeliner on your lid (and close to your lashline- lashline is shown in picture by arrow) follow these tips. Pull the skin around your eye to create a somewhat straight line. OR...Tilt your head backwards and look out of the bottom of your eye (this is also really good for people who have trouble closing only one eye). By tilting your head, you should create a flatish surface, but your still going to want to hold your lid steady to help create a straight line.
Most imporatantly, don't forget that eyeliner doesn't only come in black! If you like a natural look, try brown or gold. Try different colors because as long as you apply it well, the craziest color will still look great! Good luck and don't forget to subscribe!
