OMG! I just got back from seeing it with five of my freinds. Of course, I already knew pretty much everything, having been reading others' reveiws and scrounging for spoilers.
We were laughing during pretty much the entire movie (even parts that probably weren't meant to be funny). Skids and Mudflap were just on the right side of funny (especially with the whole Ice Crea, truck thing) and the parachute scene was wonderful vindication. And simmons has a secret base under the meat locker. (Mmmm, meat locker)
I kept leaning over to make stupid comments. (I discovered that I've been watching WAY too much Knight Rider recently. ) Scenes from the movie kept reminding me of fanfics that I've read, which makes me wonder if the script writers ever visit FF.Net
I mean, come on! Jetfire as a Blackbrid? In pretty much every Movieverse fanfic. And the plot (with the pyrimids and such) is very similar to a fanfic called Countdown to the Ancients. (which was written RIGHT after the first movie.) We'll just see how the third movie goes. I needs me some Unicron.
