When I was 8 years old, there was this caravan park down by the bike track in my town (I was a little BMX bandit) running through the caravan park was a sweet river with a massive rope swing.

So we used to naturally jump the fence after riding on the track, and go for a swim in the river, use the rope swing. This one time we went down there, there was this weird as bejesus old coot, wearing like 15 layers of clothes even though it was the height of summer.

We went swimming and tried to stay away from him, as we got out, he kinda just APPEARED in front of us, like I swear one second he was 200meters away the next minute he is standing on the bank right in front of us as we are getting out.

All he said was:

I WATCH THE WOODBUCKS IN THE WIBBER EBERY MORRRRRRRRRNING!

(translation: I watch the wood ducks in the river every morning)

Then gave us this huge horrible toothless grin. Then he started throwing his clothing at us and laughing like a ******** maniac. First his shoes, then his hat, then he was taking coat after coat off while chasing us just throwing clothes at us. We legged it and jumped the fence, grabbed our bikes and took off.

We went back with some older friends later that afternoon and he was still there, and he did the same thing, only this time we ran up onto the bridge and threw rocks at him while he was screaming about the WOODBUCKS again. One of the older kids clocked him right in the face so we all ran off again.

I never saw him after that, I hope he died, I had nightmares about this old man chasing me screaming I WATCH THE WOODBUCKS IN THE WIBBER EBERY MORNING for like 3 months after that day.
