Background History: Back before the current Raikage was in charge the the previous Raikage along with a few of the local clans started an experiment. their original goal was for them to create a new and better bloodline based off of one of their local clans that had the ability to passively gather electrons out of the air. unfortunately during their tries they came up with some really weird results all of them failures. The adults that they subjected to testing were rejecting the change and kept dieing.
The Raikage wanting to preserve as much life as he could suggested trying their experiments on younger specimens. The lab techs took the Raikage's advise and started testing on small children from 3-5 years old. The test results looked promising however they had hit yet another brick wall. Shortly after the changes were made to the children(around the rang of 2-3 weeks) the children also rejected the changes. thus resulting in their deaths as well. It had taken longer for the child body to resist because it didn't really have much of an immune system to defend with when first administered the elixir. However during that time they were kept under constant watch because their bodies where literally tearing themselves apart.
About ready to give up one of the scientist suggested that they try their experiments on fetus's. This way the body that would be resisting would be the mothers and would allow for safe change in DNA of the offspring without complications. However there were complications. allot of the impregnated women that the test were run on die either taking the child with them or the baby would be born and badly deformed only to die several hours later. Stopping the research the Raikage felt that it was no longer humane to continue these tests. all of the results appeared to be failed.
In the records all of the results were failed however there was one child that had survived and was not deformed. unable to tell what exactly they had created they raised the boy giving him a name of their own. Silas they called him, Silas Vothorne. He had been produced from an embryo of a unknown woman that had died during testing. They would have known who she was but right after the testing was called off they were ordered to scrap and burn all documents relating to what went on during their testing. All but one of their records was lost, a paper indicating that one of the test subjects had lived however this document had been submitted only after the rest of the documents had been burned.
Raising Slias, Docter Vothorne(who named the kid after himself and called him his son.) noted that as Silas got older he could do strange things that he had never seen others able to do before. i.e. He could float a paperclip in the air over his hand. Thinking that it was just simple magnetism he put it in the back of his mind until one day he found Silas himself floating a little bit off the ground. Researching it more he found that it wasn't magnetism but gravity that Silas could manipulate innately as if it were as simple as breathing to him.
Showing his findings to the Raikage he requested that the boy go under special training. The Raikage at that time agreed and put him straight into training under Anbu black ops. Normally this wouldn't be done however they felt that his potential could be great and so begun Silas's training. He became no one and was dubbed the codename Solace. Finding that Silas really had no aptitude for Taijutsu they concentrated on Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. along the way Silas found himself that he had more of a talent for lighting based abilities versus earth based. He still did manage to train and learn a few useful earth techniques, however his specialty was in lighting.
Now a Anbu black ops Silas continued to expand his knowledge of Jutsu under the permission of the Raikage and learned a couple useful Sealing Jutsu. Most of which he had to perfect on his own. It was at this time that Silas started to defect and doing things on missions he shouldn't such as killing the person he was interrogating. Furious that he had been put on reserve until he could learn to deal with his defects he fled the village. Before he left he did manage to see who replaced the previous Raikage.
Out on his own Silas started to develop his own Jutsu and acquired his Geton Jutsu. Along his travels he actually used one of his Gravity Jutsu to flatten an entire village. His current whereabouts are unknown and other than his codename the only person who knows who he really is, is the current Raikage. Although Silas has proved to be true to the Anbu name and hard to find.
It is rumored that he is part of the Seven deadly sins however all information about him, with the exception of the information that the Raikage has is speculation.

Silas is deaf, which is why he prefers to use sign language to talk versus normal talking. Silas is also thought to be blind however it is unclear whether this is true or not.
