Yesterday, was a bright sunny day and it was perfect to spend hidden away indoors. ^_^

Well, partially anyway. Phenfox and I decided we were gonna kick back and watch some DVDs, but first we needed the ,all apropos, popcorn and that sent us on our little quest to the store.

While we were there I did a little price comparison on shoes. Then, we tried out that Dr. Schulz foot center thing. Apparently I have the worst kind of feet that need the biggest baddest foot padding the good Dr. has to offer, go figure.

Before, we checked out with our newly aquired food and beverage, I just had to grab a couple of the Bella Sera figurines. I know, I know, I'm grown woman and I still love little mystery toys. Here's the kicker, when Phen and I were outside the store and I'd gleefully ripped the mystery packaging off, turns out I'd grabbed doubles.

On the bright, I think the figures must be hand painted, 'cause one of them had a spot of white on the chest the other one didn't. So Phen and I each got one, but they're different enough you can tell them apart.

We had a great time watching a movie and munching popcorn, but due to time constraints we could only watch one. However, that's not so bad, since now we can have a movie night at my place next and watch the one we didn't have time for and maybe some other ones too. And, and, Phen can finally meet my new kitten. ^_^

Oh, so I finally got to cook for some of my friends. See, this is what I get for telling people I've cooked Thanksgiving dinnner. Right, but instead of turkey, this time I made chicken in the tradditional style.(i.e. covered in butter and salt.) It turned out okay. I'm looking forward to trying a different recipe next time and see how they like it.
