I just got back from the play Joseph and the Awesome Technicolor Dreamcoat. It's a musical version of Joseph and the Coat of Many Colors (Bible, Genisis). It was really funny, because the guy playing the Egyptian Pharoah (sp?) sang and acted like Elvis. He had this white cape thing, and did that hip shake-wiggle that every girl of the day swooned over (some of the background singers were acting out the swooning) and when his scene was over and he left the stage, he spoke over the mic "Pharoah has left the Building!". My dad and I were cracking up in our seats.
And Joseph was built, man! He was really good looking: black curly hair, buff... you get it. I shook his hand at the gala afterward. And the Pharoah. ^_^ His name was Ron. Joseph, not Elvis. I think his name was Steve... I don't remember.
But the cute guy around my age was Judah: one of the other 11 brothers. He wore pink (they all wore different colored hats and sashes, with these blue coveralls.). He had thick black hair, a really good singing voice, and played the clarinet in one of the scenes. I saw him at the gala, but didn't talk to him. He was talking to this girl, who was most likely his girlfriend. sad I missed out, man. I got to get into acting in the community theatre. Naw, I have a boyfriend (who also plays clarinet... I have a thing for those, don't I? Matt V., Matt R., Judah...) But still, I got to get into acting...
So, now I have a new member in The Cavern currently. He came tonight, and has an instrument to join Keith and Mercutio, and the other musicians there. And has a lot of brothers. Guess who? heart
