I have a rant today as my first entry... scream

I'm kindda annoyed by the fact that a thread of mine got sent to the recycle bin because it happened to be a repeat. I know the rules but it just got to me.

First off I didn't even see another post with the topic I wanted to discuss. Maybe I didn't look hard enough, but still...

Second, my post was well thought out and presented a question while offering ideas. It was fairly long and had some effort put into it. When I finally found the topic it was a repeat of it was a one sentence post that just said exactly what the name of the thread was.

I guess I just get angry sometimes when I try to actually start conversation and post things with more than 1 or 2 sentences, or at least I try. I love Gaia, but a lot of time people just post for the gold in forums where they should be putting some effort into actually starting conversation and adding to it intellectually.

I've done the whole gold thing before, but I really try to add thought evoking posts... Is it too much to ask for others to do the same?
