about 5 years ago the untinkable happened.
Something that changed your life forever, and that imprinted my heart
I remeber that year, 3rd grade, like it was yesterday.
Being introduced. "Oh Hi Leah."
"You two... know eachother?"
Being brought together, when I had my heart set on a friend like you anyways.
You're the one who I can ALWAYS count on to tell me...
"Good gravy Justine, LIVE A LITTLE!"
You've brought things I love, and things I hate to my eyes.
Coffee, Monster, Fred, Charlie the unicorn, Country music, singing, TPing, Mudslinging.... The list travels on forever.
You're the only one who can make me go get a flip flop in the middle of the river.
And slip.
We've had our scuffs, our trials and black marks.
I'll never forget some of those times, but it only makes up stronger.
Getting called by the police, threatened by your mom.
Traveling to your house, only to end up crying.
Crying and hugging.
I feel like you're the only one who understands me so many times in my life.
We sit and just cry together.
Everything will be okay.
And we know it will, cause we have eachother.
And we won't forget it any times soon
So this one's for you Leah. The little girl back in the 3rd grade.
