I'm so ******** tired, I didn't sleep at ALL last night. I was thinking about a lot, some things I didn't really want to be thinking about Christmas Eve, because they kept me awake and I REALLY wanted to go to sleep.
But anyways, I am SO not upset about Jared getting a DS and me not getting one anymore (although I still REALLY want one)
Last night Nana and Greg came over, and they brought a BUNCH more presents. I got, like, 2 really big things, along with the 2 presents I already had and another small one (which I could immediately tell was a CD) Nana let me open the CD before we ate supper. It's Kenny Chesney's new album, with Who You'd Be Today on it! It's REALLY good, although I haven't listened to the whole thing yet. ^^;
So we ate pizza, and I ate too much, considering I'd already eaten a lot of melted chocolate and that made me REALLY sick. cry
But anyways, after supper Nana brought over the bigger one of the first 2 she put under the tree. It was this awesome lamp I'd circled in a JCPenny catalouge. It's green, and it lights up kinda like a lava lamp except with electricity which is drawn to your fingers when you touch its surface, it's AWESOME. Then she brought over the smaller one, and it was a Dell DJ Ditty! (an MP3 player!) that can hold... a BUNCH of songs. ^^; I can't remember exactly how many.
Then she brought over one of the REALLY big ones they'd brought down with them, and it was A LAPTOP! I black, Dell laptop that plays DVDs and CDs and apparently has 60 free days of AOL, 30 free days of NetZero and 30 free days of Earthlink. I just need to hook it up to a phone line now. I might have to do it downstairs instead of in my room, because there are no phone lines in my room, and an extended one would be bad, because the londer the line the slower the connection. Great. JUST great. I hope we get wireless soon. It also came with a suitcase.
And apparently a printer too! That was my other big present. It's a printer, AND a copier/scanner thingie. It's big too, there's kinda no room for it in my room, ^^;
So far all I've used my new technology for is playing FreeCell (I'm amazingly good at that) and downloading songs onto my MP3 DJD (I shall no longer need a CD player! YAY!)
Anyways, I couldn't sleep at all last night, like I said. Partly because there was an MP3 player beside my head and a laptop on my desk (A LAPTOP! Can you imagine?) but something else.
So, I was trying to think of a bunch of different things to make myself go to sleep. Nothing worked. Then I heard Mom come up and put me and Jared's stockings under my wittle Christmas twee. I got Mario Party 7 (though I kinda knew I was gonna get it, >.< Shame on me, lol) and lotion and body wash-ish stuff and candy (some awesome sour SpongeBob candy canes that came with gummies! They're YUMMY) and a Jesse McCartney CD (the Beautiful Soul tour *sigh, flutter* he's best when he's live) and Madagascar on DVD! And Pokemon Emerald for GBA. And the first 2 volumes of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga. When Jared was done wrapping his stuff he went back to bed. I tried to, but I couldn't sleep. So I watched my Madagascar DVD on my laptop. 2 hours passed and I was still wide-awake. So then I did a bunch of other stuff (I can't remember the order) played my new Pokemon Emerald game, listened to my Jesse McCartney CD, downloaded it to my MP3 player, listened to Will Smith on my MP3 player, read 1/2 of my first FMA manga, and went downstairs a lot to see how many presents I had and to make the time go by. You wouldn't believe how BORING it was. Finally, I gave up and just laid in bed. Then 10 seconds later Jared comes in to "wake me up" because it was almost 6 which meant the parents should be coming to wake us up soon. He got dressed and we went downstairs and Mom and Paul were just getting up.
I took them long enough to get ready before we could open presents. I got Snowshoes, a bag to carry them in, and those big pole things you use when you ski to help keep your balance (though these were made for snowshoeing) and Harry Potter Scene It? (Jared and I played earlier, I kicked his a**, xP) and Girls In Pants: The Third Summer of the Sisterhood (the book) and a rack for my DVDs (which can be mounted on the wall, and can also hold my GameCube and PS2 games, x3) and a really nice turtle-neck (PINK! whee heart heart ) that I'm wearing right now and cute cowgirl-ish jeans that I'm also wearing and a really nice jacket with mittens and a wireless controller for my GameCube (I'm gonna try it out along with my new game later) and a guide for my Pokemon Emerald (Mom knows me too well, x3 I always want a guide to go with my new Pokemon games) and I think that's it. It's probably not, that's just how much I remember at the moment. I was really crabby though, I still kinda am. I haven't slept in over 24 hours. I have these awful dark rings under my eyes. gonk And a band-aid on my middle finger, I banged it up earlier.
